Is Coolsculpting Safe for People with Prior History of Elevated Liver Profiles?

Had elevated liver profiles for a couple of years. Although back to normal, still remains on the higher end of scale. Would cool sculpting pose any danger to my liver reason being maybe some of the fat would be metabolized by it?

A: Elevated Liver Levels and Coolsculpting

Hi,

I think the main question is to know why you have a history of elevated liver tests.  If you have a history of Hepatitis C, it is related to a disease cold cold cryoglobulins which can be worsened by Coolsculpting.  If you have a history of elevated liver tests and are cleared by your primary care doctor, you should be able to have Coolsculpting.  The procedure itself does not cause any elevation of liver tests.

I Was Diagnosed with Raynaud's Phenomenon 20 Years Ago, No Symptoms in Decades, Can I do CoolSculpting?

I am due to get Coolsculpting in 2 weeks on my lower abdomen with the smaller device. The Dr. asked about skin allergies to cold. I didn't remember the Raynaud's until later. I was diagnosed at a walk-in clinic in my 20's when I didn't wear proper shoes for Northeast winters. I never had an issue with my hands and have not had an issue with my feet in years, except for them occasionally turning bluish, when sitting for long periods which is more likely poor circulation. What is the risk?

A: Raynaud's and Coolsculpting

Hi,

In the formal consents from Zeltqi, one of the contraindications is a history of Raynaud's.  Since Raynaud's is an autoimmune disease that is affected by cold, I would stay on the safe side and get an evaluation and approval from a rheumatologist before having Coolsculpting done.  We have turned down patients before when we do our initial consult and found out they had Raynaud's or Lupus.

Is Safe to Buy Juvederm from Online Website?

Hello, I just came up with this website to buy juvederm online (Filler contain hyaluronic acid). I just want to know is the website is safe and sell authentic product. Thank You!

A: On-Line Juvederm?

Hi,

Please do not  buy anything or self inject "hyaluronic acid" into your own face!  Only licensed physicians can buy FDA approved Juvederm.  You do not want buy a untested and unproven product and end up with a side effect which can end up costing you much more to fix!  Your health is most important!
