Went back a few years later (I'm now 46) for juvederm around the mouth to hide a bit of sagging/beginning of marionette lines. She injected one syringe total and it has now been three weeks. I had the Juvederm inject October 12,2011, had huge bruise with deep swelling. It have been four weeks, the swelling have not gone or decreased. I did went back to my derm...there's nothing he can do. I just have to suffer longer to see the result. I don't reconmmend this inject. I had the upper part of my lip injected a week ago because of significant lines. I was told one syringe would be enough...which it wasnt...I still have quite a few lines showing. I went to a well known plastic surgeon in SF Bayarea. I had juvederm injected into my nasialfolds. I did not bruise and i was able to go shopping hours later. It was a very good experience. I read horror stories about juvederm but I think its all about the experience of the doctor. Do your research. Its worth it I am still having great results from juverderm.& more

Juvederm does not work in naso folds unless you USE TWO SYRINGES. It will only do part of the job. Do radiesse, it is a lot of more, but it is thicker and will fill in steep groves and inclines that juvederm is too weak to do. Trust me, I had juvederm injected (only one syringe) into my naso folds and I need to go in and buy another syringe because the product is too thin and I need more... more

Juvederm is great, but after getting it, I wish I would have gone for radiesse. Radiesse is thicker and most people go for it for nasolabial folds. Juvederm is thinner and does not last as long. I only got one syringe but I really think I need two syringes for better results. Great Doctor. Beautiful office. Same discomfort as going to the dentist. Shots inside of your mouth but instead of filling a cavity, they fill a wrinkle or two.
