I saw Dr. Newman for a Fraxel CO2 Laser treatment to minimize a facial scar and have been very pleased with his work and his staff. It was reassuring that he made sure I was comfortable and not in pain during the procedure! I have also seen him for botox injections and have been really happy with the results! Will continue to be a patient! more
I am so impressed with the results after having fraxel by dr. Gladstone. It takes a little time to see the final results, but it's totally worth it. The key is to continue Fraxel every few years and to stay away from sun. He explained the difference in two types of Fraxel, and how to speed up the recovery. He also understood my budget and suggested accordingly. You have to be very careful... more
I'm 60, female, history of oily skin and pimples, not cystic acne. Still have active T-zone: oily, occasional whiteheads, milia, seb. hyperplasia, large pores, mild scarring. Worst area is chin and below mouth corners: bumpy, crepey, lots of tiny wrinkles, scars, large pores, thin skin, easily irritated. Also frown lines on forehead even after Botox. These are areas we targeted.
So, laser... more
I had 2 treatmeants with Fraxel for acne scars at Pearl plastic surgery in Mountain View , Ca.I noticed subtle difference after the first and was happy to go through the second procedure, which was more tolerable and I healed faster. Now 7days post procedure # 2, I am happy that i did it, will do a few more because I have significant scarring. The Doctor and his assistant are wonderful and I... more
I have had 3 treatments of the repair. I notice the lines around my eyes go away for many months. They do come back. The texture has improved. I recommend this treatment. My doctor does not spend much time for the procedure and the areas do not seem even, but I trust that I will not have a bad result with him. I am sure results differ with each practitioner. more
Hi, I had my first fraxel 3 months ago and my doctor recommended me to use obagi right after treatment and I am still using that product. But it's really hurt, specially when I use vitamin c on my face. Have anyone used it? If not what did you put on your face after fraxel? It is really painful and still can see the redness when Iuse it every night.I have my 2nd treatment tomorrow but I am more
I had a series of six full face fraxel treatments about a year ago with the Fraxel 1 machine. I had mild (tiny but deep) ice pick scarring from acne on my nose and cheeks. At 46, the additive effect of sun damage (bigger pores, a little pigmentation, and thicker skin) and the existing scarring was really starting to look noticeable, even with makeup. Each session was 6 passes and I would... more
I had two deep lines right underneath my eyes, lots of fine lines below those deep lines when I smiled and some acne scars on forehead and cheeks. I was recommended a series of 4 Fraxels for $3800. I was told there would be minimal pain and I could go right back to work the same day after procedure.
Both of them turned out to be very untrue. First time, it hurt like hell. I had to bite on... more
I am doing Fraxel to finally get rid of the acne scars that I have on my face. I have very even skin tone but many shallow, barely visible acne scars, and then three areas of pretty deep acne scarring (only visible if the light hits my face to show them. Of course very visible to me at all times!). My dermatologist has recommended a series of six Fraxel treatments. I had my second Fraxel... more
