28 yr old female, with 3 children. I feel like I have a lot of excess skin in fat in my abdominal region. I am interested in a tummy tuck and inner thigh lift, as well as a breast lift. Is it possible to combine all 3 in my situation?
The answer is yes, but I don't recommend combining too many procedures. You could do the abdomen (body lift, in your case) and a breast augmentation, but hold on the thigh lift for a second procedure. It will be safer.
From the pictures, do I look like a good candidtate for a medial thigh lift with the scar being placed in the groin area? I would really prefer not to have a vertical scar and I would be willing to give up a little bit of lift. Can either lift be done safely at the same time as a lower body lift?
If the loose skin is in the upper 1/3 of the inner thigh only you my be a good candidate for a crecentic inner thigh lift in which the scar can be placed solely in the groin. If you lift the upper 3-4" of the thigh with your hand and there isn't excessive loose skin in the middle or lower third of the thigh this would also be a hopeful sign. If on the other hand the thigh skin is loose in a circumferential fashion in the lower two thirds of the thigh, you may be a better candidate for an inverted "T" or "L" type of thigh lift. From your photos it is difficult to tell which might be best to choose without further exam.
why do I have to keep creaming the scars after my inner thigh and arm skin reduction and how long for ? thanks marisa
Massaging topical moisturizer and hydrocortisone creams into a scar after any surgery is an important part of any cosmetic surgery. These products will aid the softening and fading of the scar. the physical massaging action will help stretch the collagen fibrils which cause the scar to feel tight and hard. Topical silicone scar treatments can also help in this regard and I use them all in my practice as a routine.
