Couldn't Be Happier After Septorhinoplasty - San Francisco, CA

Posted by

It's difficult to sum up Dr. Macdonald in a few short sentences, but I'll do my best. This is a doctor who is kind, gentle and compassionate as well as being a knowledgeable physician. He came highly recommended by a trusted source and put my fears and anxieties to rest when I met him for my consultation. He walked me through the procedure and patiently answered all my questions. I had a septorhinoplasty, with turbinate reduction and I couldn't be happier with the results. I had no idea breathing could and should be this easy! Dr. Macdonald also refined my bulbous tip into something that looks natural and beautiful. His bedside manner is something that other surgeons should study and practice, not to mention his skill, talent and eye for aesthetics. He has a calming presence and genuinely cares about patient comfort before surgery and during the recovery process. Look no further, you've found the right surgeon.

Great Results - San Francisco, CA

I had a Septorhinoplasty procedure and could not be happier with the results. I am able to breathe in a way that was not possible before the operation and the results look very natural. From the moment I sat down with him to discuss my options, I felt at ease. Every (and I mean every) question I had was answered before, during and after the procedure. He was never too busy to return a phone call or see me when I needed his advice. Dr. Macdonald's staff are also amazing. They made me feel comfortable and at ease throughout the whole journey and by doing so allayed my fears and anxieties. The entire experience has been an extremely positive one. Dr. Macdonald is an amazing surgeon and this combined with his caring beside manner ranks him number one in my book.

Very Happy with Rhinoplasty - Changes Subtle, but Look is Way Better - San Francisco, CA

Dr. Mac did my nose job 4 yrs ago - which I'd wanted for years to narrow and straighten a wide, "pug nose" tip. I'm honestly SO glad I finally did it. Dr. Mac is definitely a nose expert, inside & out, because he is a facial plastic & reconstructive surgeon. Not only was he warm and gentle in his demeanor but extremely knowledgeable and technical yet also artistic like a sculptor. He listened carefully to my goals and told me exactly how he'd achieve them in surgery. He showed me tons of B&A patient rhinoplasty photos, but most importantly was able to find one with a nose that looked much like mine. He was definitely the right surgeon for me! I now go to him for Dysport or Botox (depending on which company is offering rebates :) and am thinking about starting to try the tissue fillers in my nasolabial folds which are starting to show my mid-40s age :( I definitely trust his medical and aesthetic judgment completely and would recommend him to friends & family without hesitation.

A QUICK, LOW-COST FIX FOR PUFFY BAGS UNDER YOUR EYES

It may be a bit unorthodox…and it will definitely make you LOL (laugh out loud), but don’t dismiss it until you’ve tried it. It really does work…albeit a temporary solution. To temporarily diminish puffy under-eye bags apply to the swollen area an over-the-counter hemorrhoid ointment such as Preparation H made by Pfizer. Various formulations of the product contain drugs such as phenylephrine, pramoxine, and hydrocortisone. Each of these ingredients works by constricting blood...

When consulting with a plastic surgeon who is well-versed in the intricacies of assessing the factors that lead to a favorable nose job outcome, you will likely be amazed at all that is considered. A well done, natural-looking rhinoplasty is not just about the size and shape of your nose. The type and quality of your skin must also be considered as it impacts how your nose will heal after rhinoplasty. Your nasal cartilage, and its inherent strength or weakness, also affects...
