Release of bands under the skin (septa) and injection of fat can help really deep buttocks dimples. Cellulite of the buttocks can be treated with acoustive wave therapy, AWT.
I've read a number of posting here but majority of them are 10mths or more old. Technology changes fast & some are proven or disproven over time. I have "a lot" of cellulite on my buttocks & upper/outer thighs & now on the front of my thighs down to my knees. This is due in part to post-partum & weight gain associated with IBS. Between the non-invasive treatments (LipoEx, Velashape) & the more invasive types (Smart-Lipo), what is deemed the best & which non-invasive would most Dr.'s recommend?
Many treatments are advertised for cellulite. Most don't work or are temporary at best. I like acoustic wave therapy. It is non-invasive and usually gives long lasting improvements. I have extensive experience with Smartlipo. It doesn't reliably improve cellulite.
Would I need to exercise more, eat differently, get more massages to get less cellulite? I am just seeing the first signs of thigh cellulite. NOT good!
I have just completed a study that used a sophisticated device called the VECRTA system. This study showed that over 75% if the patients had an obvious improvement in the contours of their thighs - without any interim, maintenance treatments, Treatments were preformed by my nurse and patients were evaluated including their BMI, percent Body fat, etc. The net results demonstrated that the patient treated with the Smoothshapes device loved their results. This patient opinion was substantiated by the computer analysis of the treated areas.
