If I could give Joseph Togba less than one star I would. He performed a breast reduction on me in 1996 knowing I was taking prednesone. What resulted was I had absolutely NO SKIN on my breasts for almost six months. I was in extreme pain, understandable since I had NO SKIN. I remember like it was yesterday when I went for my first follow-up visit, the look on his face when he took off my... more
I'm 60, married, two adult "kids." 5'4" 36DDD. I was thin my whole life but still had big boobs. I was always self-concsious and hated the size but figured that's just the way it is. Since menopause, I've put on 20 lbs and I'm now bigger than ever. I've been reading everyone's stories for a while now. I actually got the nerve to see a PS and was surprised that my insurance will pay for a... more
The progress has been excellent, my recovery has been pretty quick, more than what l was expecting. No inflammations and I've had little to no pain, my chest has still been numbed. The implants of the nipples have healed pretty fast. I never got any infections. I believe that if anyone Is in the need for this type of surgery, Dr Beck is the indicated one. more
Wow! I did not know such a community existed but boy am I glad I found it. Since middle school, I have been wanting a smaller chest. Here we are, 15 years later, and my day is finally approaching. I cannot believe this is happening! Eeek!!
A little back story... In 2011, I became more vocal with my physician about ongoing back pain. His first suggestion was to stretch before and after... more
I have been pouring over all of your reviews for months. Thought I would finally join in.
I feel 100% certain that a breast reduction is right for me. I am currently a 34G and I am hoping to go to a 34D or C. Ultimately I would like to be a C but would like to continue to lose 10 or so lbs after my surgery so maybe starting with a D will let me end up at a C.
In any case, I met with my... more
Lower back pain would not allow me to stand up for a long time while working or walk for more than three blocks. My physician recommended breast reduction. I hesitated for a while but then decided that life is too short. The surgery went smoothly. I had had three C-sections from which I recovered quickly but the last one was 18 years ago. The recovery was a bit harder but did not take more... more
Wanted to do this for years. Painful neck, back, shoulders. But mostly the size was just way too large for my small 4'10 inch frame. I've been busty since I was 11 years old and I was tired of lugging those monsters around. I'm so happy now and completely satisfied with the entire experience. My recovery was quick and the scars are almost gone. I had drains for 6 days and was happy when they... more
My chest seemed to grow overnight sometime at the beginning of high school and I had no idea how to deal with them. I stuffed them into badly fitting bras which had no support. At one point, I had only one bra that fit - a 36D bra that worked if I wore a sports bra over it, since my boobs would fall out the bottom otherwise. I blamed my body and my boobs for being weird. I thought that I... more
I wanted to have the breast reduction done for a long time... since they were oversize, heavy, lower my self-esteem and it's been very hard for me to choose my outfit for any social events...
After a long research and recommendations from friends of mine, I chose Dr Beck.
I'm glad that I did...
First the staff, they are friendly and professionally, especially Jasmine, she walked us through... more

I am 38 years old. I have wanted to have a BR for 18 years. I first waited until I have my kids. Then I wanted to loose all my baby weight. Just when I was ready to go for it my dad got diagnosed with cancer. A year after that he had a massive heart attack. Two years after that my mom was diagnosed breast cancer. It has been a hard 2 years but she is now doing fine. So now it's my turn to ... more
Hi everyone! It is a dream to be planning for my breast reduction surgery. I just turned 38, I'm 5'7", 185 lbs. I've been thinking about getting a breast reduction for the last 20 years. My fear of surgery and needles and pain has kept me from pursuing the procedure.
I am like every other woman with large breasts - I suffer from all the pain and discomfort in the neck, back, shoulders, numb... more

So I have finally schedule my surgery. I have gone to consultation twice in the past and never made it this far. The first time I chickened out. The second time, I was laid off and lost my health insurance. So, here's hoping the third time is the charm as they say.
I am currently wearing a 44j bra(will side spillage). So, I am not really sure what my true size is at this point. I am aiming... more

Hi, ladies. I'm so happy I found this site a few weeks before my reduction surgery on March 6. I've always been self-concious about my chest size and wondered why the universe was so unfair to make some of us develop so disproportionately. I've heard a lot of theories about early puberty due to hormones in our food and dairy, etc, but hey, I was born in the late '70s, so WTH?... more
I'm 57 years old, 5'7" and weigh around 180. I wear a (tight) 42DDD bra. I've been wanting a breast reduction for about 15 years -- my breasts grew to excessive size in my 40s. Tho I've always been on the busty side, in my 40s my upper back and shoulders started to be pulled out of shape. lots of pain around my shoulder blades. I had enough money in savings to pay for... more
