revision on my nose its now 20 days passed but at the top left side of my nose theres somthing pointy its soft when pressed on and my dr injected cortisone on day 16 plz help will it go away by itself or injection s or what plz plz help me
From your photos I am unable to appreciate the issue you mention, but 20 days after any rhinoplasty procedure is too early to make a determination. The best resource is your plastic surgeon and they can tell you more of exactly what is occurring in this area. Time is mandatory in allowing for the swelling to subside before assessing your final outcome.

I really want to be careful in healing after a revision. My swelling is heavy and I want to do the most I can.So I have been taking arnica/pineapple extract, limiting sodium to 1200mg,no blood thinning foods or vit E,but now with taping. Can someone give me specific step details on how to do this; can I do any harm to the outcome if i do this wrong.2 weeks postOP,I want to do every small detail I can to help heal right, and help swelling go down;if you could come up with a perfect regime,PLz Share
There may not be much in the way of scientific evidence showing the benefits of taping the nose following rhinoplasty. However, I can say that in my practice I certainly recommend taping in many patients. You should review this recommendation in detail with your rhinoplasty surgeon before doing so. I have attached a link below that discusses taping of the nose following rhinoplasty. I hope you find it helpful.
I want to schedule a Revision Rhinoplasty but have be taking supplements containing Ginkgo Bilboa, Licorice Extract, Green Tea Extract, Vitamin E, among others. How long should I wait and is there any other vitamin or herb I should cut down on or completely eliminate from my diet? Thanks.
Hi there. I have attached a link to our list of restricted medications that we suggest patients stop using 10-14 days prior to their rhinoplasty surgery with us. I hope this helps. Happy healing.
