Great Experience and Results! First Time Doing Botox - San Diego, CA

Dr. Kolstad was absolutely wonderful. He spent a considerable amount of time answering my questions and addressing all of my concerns. I have an intense fear of numbing medicines since the numbing sensation triggers my panic attacks but I was also unsure if I was prepared to try Botox without a little help. Dr. Kolstad was very understanding of this and did not rush me through my options and gave me the time I needed to think through my decision. I felt comfortable enough to try it without the numbing cream and it was a PERFECT experience. I will definitely go back for future treatments when I'm ready.

I got the "lunch time" peel from Dr. Kolstad. It's a chemical peel which just sits on your skin for a few minutes and after a few sessions gives the result of a major chemical peel. It works for me because I am really active and can't take a week out of my life to heal from a major peel. Dr. Kolstad is really patient and sits and explains the process and he encourages patients to call at any time if there is a problem. I really enjoy going to his office it's a great atmosphere and his assistant is really nice and helpful. She called me after my first appointment to make sure everything was going OK.

Dr. Kolstad made this venture feel more like a friendship, rather than a doctor patient arrangement. He took the extra time to address all my fears and questions. I am so gracious for the time and effort he put into making me feel comfortable with the surgery and the recovery following. I was touched by the personal calls and emails inquiring about my healing progress and my peace of mind. It is important for a woman to feel beautiful at any age, and he gave me back the youthful look that I longed for. I would more than recommend him to any person considering plastic surgery and I would definitely go to Dr. Kolsatd again for future procedures if the opportunity presents itself.

I choose Dr. Kolstad because of his humanitarian work. I went back to him because I liked the results I got as a result of his expertise. I've been to a few dermotologists and plastic surgeons, some of them recommended treatments and procedures that were in the doctor's best interests, not mine. Dr. Kolstad has not done that to me. Because of my experiences with him so far, I am comfortable to report that Dr. Kolstad has shown himself to be ethical and genuinely concerned that his patients get the results they want. Also, he gave me an enormous amount of his time to thoroughly and graciously answering my (many, many) questions about a neck and face lift procedure.

I found Dr. Kolstad and immediately was able to make an appt. Laura, the assistant, was so friendly and sweet throughout the whole experience from making the appt to all the follow-ups. When I met Dr. Kolstad, he was very attentive and listened to all my concerns. I really appreciated that he gave me undivided attention for the consultation and took the time to explain everything to me. I'm very happy with the results and definitely plan to go back!

Through my daughter. I went to Dr. Kolstad to have botox for the first time in my life. Dr. Kolstad and his staff were so sweet to me and made me feel very welcome. Dr Kolstad listened to my concerns about the wrinkles in my forehead. He did a wonderful job and I didn't feel a thing! I am planning to have eyelid surgery in the near future by Dr. Kolstad. I would recommend Dr. Kolstad to anyone and I can't think of a better place to have my eyelids done!

I had juvederm lip augmentation and Dr. Kolstad and his assistant, Laura, were professional, helpful, and kind. It was easy to schedule appointments, and once you arrive he sees you right away... there is no waiting. The doctor listens to you and answers all your questions, and he and his staff check on you after the procedure to see how you are doing. It couldn't have been a better experience and I will highly recommend others to see him!

Dr. Kolstad listened to my concerns and and focused on making sure the procedure looked natural. He didn't pressure me to have anything before I was ready and we talked without rush about exactly how I wanted the end results to look. What really distinguishes Dr. Kolstad from other plastic surgeons is that he listens to his patients and sincerely cares about making sure his patients get the results that they want.

It was the best price, great staff, very friendly, comfortable environment, and I loved the end results. Upon researching lip augmentation I was looking for someone with experience, affordable, with good reviews. I came up on Dr Kolstad while researching and he fit all of the criteria. Laura made sure to do follow up calls and Dr Kolstad even gave me prescription to help with the swelling. I would definitely come back for the procedure again.

He was a referral, and I would rate him # ONE when it comes to spending time and really identifying the needs of the patient. Dr. Kolstad did a fantastic job and my eyes are lighting up my face...The entire procedure was handled with the utmost care and concern by everyone in the office. His assistant Laura couldn't have been more kind and I always felt at ease in their office. No one ever rushed me through, and they made me feel like I was patient # 1 each and every time I went to the office. There were many visits before and after, and I didn't feel like once my payment was made, they wanted to move on to someone else. I always felt like I was important to them, and my happiness was a major goal. Thank you, Dr. Kolstad and Laura!
