Veneers will not promote tooth decay. Veneers are bonded to your teeth in a very tight seal that neither liquids, nor air, would penetrate between the veneer and your tooth.
Whomever does your veneers must be very competent and experienced in doing veneers. They are a very delicate, technique-sensitive procedure.
