I had gastric bypass and have lost 135lbs. I am only 32, I'd like to wear a bikini.I've received 3 different opinions. One told me he would not do my breasts in one surgery. He would do a lift then implants because he did not want the blood supply to my nipple to die. The 2 other doctors said they would do everything at once. I want to have a lower body lift, "build a but",breast lift w/ silicone implants. Is this safe to do in one surgery? Also,is fat grafting going to give me a decent rear end? If I Get a Butt Through Fat Grafting Will the Results Be Permanent? Is a Brazilian Butt Lift the Same Thing As Fat Grafting?
Having a body lift at the same time as a breast lift and augmentation is a standard surgery to go through after massive weight loss, as long as the patient is in good health. The surgeon who wants to wait to do your augmentation at a second stage is being as conservative as he can possibly be. We normally do not delay the placement of the implants unless there is a health issue. It is very important that you see your primary care physician for clearance before undergoing surgery. Fat grafting to the buttocks may help you achieve a better look. The results vary depending on how much fat is harvested and what amount your body absorbs. The amount of fat that your body maintains after about 10 weeks should be permanent.
Hi, I am 21, interested in a Brazilian butt lift or implants & was debating whether to do in the US or going abroad such as Colombia. I hear many people go abroad to get it done. Is it worth it? I don't even know where to start to look for a doctor over there. Also, should I do a fat transfer or get implants based on my body frame. I am afraid that I am too wide to look hourglassey such as Kim Kardashian. What should I do? I want my hips to pop out too, is it achievable?
In reality, there must certainly be good and bad doctors in Columbia or elsewhere, just as there are here. However, there are some noteworthy differences.
Malpractice insurance is required in the US and is often not required in foreign countries. This means that if something goes wrong during your surgery, this insurance protects both you and the doctor. Unfortunately, it is not cheap, and it adds to the expense of domestic surgery.
In the US, there are rigorous standards that are universally applicable to surgery centers with the goal of improved safety and reduced infection. These standards do not exist or are not enforced elsewhere.
Follow up is almost as important as the surgery. If you suffer a minor complication or expect to achieve adequate follow-up, the commute to the foreign clinic would be difficult.
The stimulus to travel abroad is usually to find a lower price. But it is important to keep things in perspective. This is YOUR BODY. YOU ONLY HAVE ONE. So if you are considering surgery, do your research. If you have a friend with great results, this is your best resource. A personal referral is the best.
Good luck!!
My butt has a nice shape and size but the problem is that I barely have a gluteal crease. They are almost invisible. I know that a short crease has a youthful appearance but I just wanted to deepen or lenghten these folds so that they are a little more visible.
I would prefer a permanent solution but if that's not available, could injections such as Botox be of any help?
It is possible to create a new or more defined gluteal crease. The issue depends upon the reason that you are lacking the fold - laxity of skin, too much posterior thigh fat or lack of volume of the buttock that creates the crease. The options that exist is to add volume to the buttock through a Brazilian Butt Lift type procedure or implant, lipo of the excess fat or excision of excess skin to create or re-define the fold. Without a photo or exam this is impossible to determine, but meet with a plastic surgeon to determine the best approach.
