What are the most likely desirable outcomes of a brow lift when I'm really only trying to minimize frown lines? How often does the procedure need to be repeated?
A brow lift does just that - lift the brow. If you want lines reduced, sometimes Botox is all you need. If the muscles are cut during the brow lift procedure, they will be improved for a period of time, but often the muscles will find their way back together through scar tissue. This can lead to "odd" looking muscle contractions. See a board certified plastic surgeon in your area to get a better opinion.

Had a direct brow lift procedure first in 2010 and the left incision healed nice, the right scar was quite a bit wider than the left. In 2011 I had the brows lifted a little higher with a different physician, and while the left incision has not gotten very wide(about 1 - 1.5mm at most) the right was again wider, with a width of around 2.5-3.5mm (4mo post op). I've contemplated having revision, but I feel it will turn out the same way. Is there anything can really be done, or should I accept it?
Tension on an incision can lead to increase width of the scar over the course of the healing process. There is some discrepancy in the appearance of your scars. However, only your operating surgeon can give you an accurate answer regarding what was done. It would seem possible that a scar revision in conjunction with Botox should produce a more appealing scar.

How long could I expect the results of the brow lift to last?
A brow lift unfurls the forehead skin. Muscle activity is reduced between the eyes. Overactivity in the central forehead is best treated with Botox or Dysport. Tailored brow positioning is the beauty of the surgical lift.
