Would I Need a Lift in Addition to Implants?

Hello Dr's My body is not quite the same after 3 children and a lot of weight gained and lost. Just wondering your opinion on whether I would require a breast lift as well as implants if I was to ever regain what once was! Thank you.

A: You do not need a lift

Your nipples are above the inframammary fold.   This is the reason that you do not need a lift.  A mastopexy is designed to lift the nipple areola  complex to the inframammary fold.  You already have this.

Could I Have a Cresent Breast Lift and Augment?

Hi I really want a breast augmentation, i am 38 yrs old have breast feed , my children are now teenagers, no plans for any other children. I initially didnt want a breat lift but have realised i need one, but i am very scared of the scars. could i have a cresent style breast lift and implants??

A: You can but...

Hello,

You can probably do this but you will still be a bit on the droopy side. It depends upon whether you are more interested in lifted breasts or a decreased scar pattern. A more involved lift will lift better. I would need to measure you to be sure of course .

What Breast Lift is Recommended if You Already Have an Augmentation?

i am 26 years old, 136 pounds, and 5'2" with a 450cc breast augment. my breasts just seem too saggy and i am unhappy with them. i want a lift to perk them up and would like to know what lift would be recommended.

A: Depends upon the "droopiness"

Hello,

The implant size is not so important although bigger tends to make the lift not last as long ....gravity wins out. The type of lift really depends upon exactly how droopy you are and what you want done about it. Lesser scar lifts tend to lift less, but some women will only tolerate certain scar patterns.

You need to be examined to figure this one out.
