In what ways is Vaser liposuction superior to a Zerona procedure for removing excess fat from hips and thighs?
Vaser liposuction uses ultrasonic sound waves to emulsify the fat. This also creates a warming effect and decreases the amount of force required to remove the individual fat cells. The sound waves radiate which allows one to create a smoother contour. Zerona may not provide a result that is as predictable and reliable compared to the Vaser however I am aware of not such comparison studies. In general my advice is that liposuction is liposuction. It really does not matter which mouse trap is used - Zerona, Smart lipo, ProLipo, etc... The hammer used to build the house doesn't make the house. The result you want is created by your plastic surgeon. Look for a reputable surgeon not the tool.
I am interested in getting vaser lipo. I have worked extremely hard to lose weight in order to get a flat stomach, instead I was left with lose skin. I stomach is soft after losing 15 pounds. I am frustrated, because I dont know what to do to get a nice flat stomach and back. Would vaser lipo help me get to the next level? I dont need a lot of fat taken out, its more like shaping my body, is lipo what I need?
In general Vaser lipo selection helps to smooth out the abdomen and hips through emulsification of the fat. It requires less force and has been shown in select studies to heal with less bruising. In my experience it works well for someone whom is young and healthy as an adjunct to a great diet and exercise. It really provides a boost or jump start for the physic. It is hard to tell from pictures if the skin is loose. If it is I often recommend considering an abdominoplasty or mini abdominoplasty to tighten the skin in a more predictable way than liposuction (Vaser or Laser) offers - if loose skin is of concern. If the looseness of the skin is of no concern and size is the issue Liposuction is often all that is required to meet ones goals. Keep up the great work!
I am a 44 year old woman, very good health, workout 3-4 times a week with a trainer, healthy diet- but, I am 5 foot 8 and abt 165. My biggest beef is with my arms- regardless of wkts they are still flabby, even though they have muscle. ?? I am wondering if Vaser High Def would help the arm area. I'd also like to have a more defined waistline area so wondering about that as well.
"Vaser Hi Def" is a technique I use to sculpt the body on several layers. The Vaser is a specialized liposuction tool. VASER stands for Vibration Amplification of Sound Energy at Resonance, received FDA approval for body contouring in 2002, is the current gold standard in body sculpting and remodeling.
We use the Vaser to perform regular liposuction and Vaser Hi Def LipoSculpture. From what you describe, Vaser Hi Def can be used to remove excess fat in your arms and would create the more defined waistline. The only issue with your arms is that depending on your skin elasticity, you may need Thermage skin tightening or in extreme case, a surgical arm lift. From your pictures, it appears that you would not need either of these.
