Dr. Suzanne Kilmer, MD is a board-certified dermatologist with over 25 years of experience and the founder of Laser & Skin Surgery Center of Northern California in Sacramento. She specializes in aesthetic treatments, including laser skin resurfacing, skin tightening treatments, and body contouring. She is also known for her skill in dermatologic surgery and creating artistic results. “Natural appearing results are extremely technique-dependent and best achieved by combining state-of-the-art technology, a skilled hand, attention to detail, and an aesthetic eye,” explains Dr. Kilmer.
After receiving her MD from and completing her residency at UC Davis Medical Center, Dr. Kilmer pursued a fellowship in laser surgery at Harvard Medical School’s Wellman Center for Photomedicine at Massachusetts General Hospital. There, she stayed on as a faculty member for several years before returning to Sacramento to open her medical practice. She has won a plethora of awards throughout her career, including the Vic Narurkar, MD, Innovations in Aesthetic Dermatology Lectureship in 2020. She is also a member of multiple professional organizations, such as the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery. When not working, she enjoys skiing and surfing with her husband and three children.
