My breast size is 34d, and i think they sag. The length between my nipple to sternal notch is 23.8cm ,and center of nipple to breast fold is 6.7cm. What kind of breast lift will fix my problem and leave the least scaring ?
I think your breasts need augmetation as opposed to a lift. I think you would get a wonderful result by simply going with some implants. You would also get some upper pole filling that I think you may be attributing to "saggy breasts." Above all else, make sure you see a board certified plastic surgeon and try not to go with the lowest bidder necessarily.
What type and size of breast implant should I get? Do I need to get a breast lift with my implants? My goal is to have similar looking symmetrical breast. I would like them to be higher and a little bit bigger. Symmetry and a youthful appearance are my main objective. I have had several consults but given different suggestions. I am not sure what is best for me. I am 5'9 and I weigh 197 lbs. I have broad shoulders and wide hips. My breasts have deflated after having children. I plan to have breast augmentation soon.
Hi Kim,
You are correct to emphasize the asymmetry. The implant can improve symmetry if your surgeon uses different volume for either side. Lift improves the contour, shape and location of nipple. Implant gives you more fullness in the upper pole of the breast and also give you a fuller cleavage.

I'm sort of on the verge of needing a breast lift and wondering if the scars are not worth the trade-off... what kind of incisions or techniques leave the least amount of scarring?
Breast lift achieves the following:
- Brings the breast to a more attractive position
- Reduces the size of Areola
- Helps the breast to become more perky
The breast lift incision can be reduced if an implant is used and if deep suturing allows re-contouring of the breast.
From your description, it seems that you are a good candidate for a combination of implant and a Donut Breast lift. This allows you to get the best shape while having Minimal scar which heals very well and becomes fairly invisible.
The quality of scar can also be improved if your surgeon is committed and places deep suture to avoid widening of the scars.
Having said that, I have operated on countless patients that are very happy with the result even though there is scar. The scar usually fades away with time...
