Please Help. Been Told Some Many Things from Different Doctors (photo)

I am 24 years old and looking to get a breast uplift from a weight loss of 7 stone. I want young perky breast that are full as I have always had a large chest. I have been to a few different doctors. This is where the problem is. Too start some have said they can do the lollipop, others say anchor. Then some are saying implants will give me the look I want, others are saying no that I don't need them, and lastly others are saying that they wont do the lift with the implant? Please help me!

A: Severe mammary ptosis following weight loss

is a challenging problem.  Much of what is done depends on what your desires and needs are.  If you are done breast feeding or breast feeding is not an issue for you, then consider a reduction with an implant for volume.  If you wish to avoid an implant completely and are happy with your current volume, a Rubin mastopexy will probably suffice.  If you try to lift your breast tissue and use an implant, it is likely you will have your native tissue hang over the implant, imparting an odd look.  As my colleagues have stated, a vertical lift is inadequate in your situation.  You should discuss all of these alternatives with your chosen surgeon.  You also have to understand it is likely you will lose nipple sensation during your procedure.

Can a Breast Lift Be Operated on Someone Who Has Already Had a Breast Augmentation?

I had breast implants 4 months ago after having 2 children and realise that in order to achieve the look I wanted implants were not enough and I should have got a breast lift. Can I now go ahead and have a lift with already having implants?

A: Mastopexy (breast lift) after augmentation

If your mounds have settled to a satisfactory position, you may proceed with a lift.  Waiting a couple of months would be beneficial but not mandatory if you are willing accept the risks of continued settling, which after 4 months, is rather minimal in my opinion.

If your lift is not considerable, you could even consider having it done in the office under local anesthetic to save you the costs of an operating room.

You should discuss your concerns with your surgeon and proceed if he/she feels they can meet your expectations.  Best wishes in achieving the look you desire.

I'm 20 and Need Breast Lift, Which Technique am I a Candidate for? (photo)

My breast size is 34d, and i think they sag. The length between my nipple to sternal notch is 23.8cm ,and center of nipple to breast fold is 6.7cm. What kind of breast lift will fix my problem and leave the least scaring ?

A: Breast lifts and good breasts...

It really depends on what you are trying to achieve.  As mentioned, you have youthful breasts in terms of the position of your npples but you don't have fullness of the upper poles.  If you're happy with your breast size, you would have to decide if the risks of a lift are worth it and will it achieve your goals reliably.  If you want to be larger, an implant would probably take care of most of your concerns.  You should discuss this in detail with your surgeon and come up with a plan that is agreeable to both of you.   And not having surgery is also a very good option, waiting until you age a bit more.
