Words can't describe how much i regret having surgery with Dr. Sam Goldberger, every day since the surgery has been a nightmare. Everytime I look in the mirror or see a picture of myself the pain and shock of how different i look is renewed. I needed a ptosis repair on one eye for mild ptosis. My eyes were already good and I was happy with them besides the ptosis. I was very concerned that... more
I wasn't going to write a review and share my experiences, but during my research, I keep coming back to this site. It only seems fair to share and post my before and after. I often have thought about plastic surgery, but never though I would actually have the nerve or money to do it. I'm now 45 and wished I would of thought about this more seriously ten years ago, but here I am, YOLO! For... more
I had my lower eyelid surgery 5 weeks ago and I don't see any improvement. It's even worst than before the surgery. I know it takes time to heal and smooth out, but I don't get it why my eye bags are swollen and darker? My doctor told me Asian heal slower and that I should wait another 1 month to see results. Everyday I wake up and I see the same thing. My eye bags are not even flat!... more
For years I have wanted to do a little something about the puffiness under my eyes, a feature that has made it's way through each generation of my family. Dr. Grover mentioned the possibility of minor upper lid revision as well,... more
My right eye was a little lazy to begin with so while considering eyelid surgery for my drooping lids, I asked the surgeon if he could correct the lazy one at the same time. He said yes, he could 'improve' it. I told him that if he could correct it, that would be great, but if he couldn't, at least don't emphasize it. Well, he did just that. Not sure if he get confused but he... more
I had upper and lower eyelid surgery. After four months, there is a scar on the end of one eye, the discoloration has not gone away from the upper lids, the suture scars have lumps, there is a 'pocket' under one eye now, the skin in the center of my eyes was pulled down to create a freakish look, my eyelids still hurt, and I don’t look like the person I was BEFORE droopy eyelids!... more
I had a tremendous amount of fat under my eyes. I always looked so very tired and avoided family photos and such. After talking with 3 different doctors, I chose one I felt good about and had a lower lid transconjunctival blepharoplaty 4 days ago. I have only moderate swelling and no bruising.I am very happy with the results so far. I highly recommend researching the process, talking with a... more
I had upper and lower eyelid surgery and a bump removed from my nose. I would not do it again. I have not been happy with the results. The procedure and recovery were ok, but the result (after 6 months) is not what I anticipated. It did not improve my appearance; I believe it made me look worse.I had upper and lower eyelid surgey and it changed the shape of my eyes, and they often look... more
