I had Fraxel 9 years ago and got hyperpigmentation immediately after it - Sun spots appeared in several places on my face and got worse over time. Heard IPL helped but was leery for fear of making it worse. Bought a Groupon for 3 sessions from a reputable salon in Brentwood (Kalologie 360) fully prepared to try once and not go back. Awesome result surprised me. The procedure itself is fast... more
I had 3 rounds of IPL for rosacea when I was 30. The results were amazing. I have always been ruddy faced with sensitive skin when exercising, overheated, or embarrassed. This made a HUGE difference. Broken capillaries do come back with sun exposure, but the overall effect is very much in tact. I had it redone later for melasma, results were minimal and only lasted until the next vacation in... more

To my surprise the treatment was very tolerable, and I recovered from the effects of... more

After just one IPL, they were all but gone. After the second, there is NO trace of them. I did my first treatment when I was around 35 and now that I'm 40, I go in for an IPL twice a year... more
About 2 weeks ago I went to get a IPL treatment to treat what was pointed out to me Rosacea from a Dr who has in the past done facial fillers for me. During that visit he noticed I had slight rosacea on my cheeks and around the the nose area and forhead area. He suggested the IPl and said I would more
I am 43 years old, and am a landscaper. Until I was about 37 I almost never wore sunscreen, or a hat. My face, neck and chest had quite a bit of sun damage- dark patches, and broken capillaries. My chest had a permanent ruddy area that was shaped like most of my scoop-neck tees!I have had 3 IPL treatments on my faceand neck, and 4 on my chest. U more
