If I work out a lot, should I go over or under the muscle? Is there a risk of one or the other if I am in the gym and run a lot? I don't want my implants to move or look really fake. Thank you for your opinion.
The best plane for implant placement in someone who exercises a lot (especially someone who is thin with limited soft tissue coverage) is in the partial submuscular plane. There can be some movement of the implant with exercise when the implant is in the partial submuscular plane, which can be of concern in a body builder. However, this is a small issue in most patients.
First off I want to thank all the advice I got on my last question! A lot of you advised me not to go 800cc HP saline.. After talking to my PS he also agreed so we have agreed on 700cc Mod+ Saline(under muscle) :) Now with that said my PS uses Local Anesthesia (he mentioned something about versed) I just don't want to wake up and PS still doing my surgery!? Or I feel anything?!
It is possible to perform breast augmentation under local anesthesia with sedation and I have done this procedure on patients who were very reluctant to undergo general anesthesia. However, it is a much better experience for the patient to have a general anesthetic supplemented with local anesthesia, which also helps with postoperative pain relief. Both options should be available to you if you are having your procedure performed at a fully accredited surgery center.
I feel that my breast is slightly droopy,so i consulted with doctor, and he said that instead of lift, i should have implant/fat injection for more upper pole fullness. Length between my nipple to sternal notch is 23.8cm Should i have lift or augmentation ? If augmentation, which one is better, implant or fat injection?
A review of your photographs does not demonstrate any sagging (ptosis) of your breast so a breast lift is not necessary in your case. You would do well to have carefully performed breast augmentation. At this time I cannot recommend fat grafting for breast augmentation.
