Transgender Woman: Best Way to Achieve More Hips and Buttocks?

I am a transgender woman and i struggle with having a more female or a more hourglass body shape. Right now i feel i have a squarish body frame. I stand at 5'3" , weigh 120 lbs., 36c bust, 29'wait, 33' hips and 35' butt. What cosmetic procedure will help me achieve wider hips and a bigger buttocks? i know many woman in my gender go through pmma/silicone injectable filler to get those female curves. either secretly here in the US or aboard. it worries me to feel that can only be my only option.

A: Large Volume Fat Transfers for Buttock Enhancement

Transforming the masculine body type to a more feminine figure can be best achieved through a combination of liposuction and aggressive fat transfers.  The difficulty is based on the fact that the shape of the male pelvis is more square than round as with most genetic females.  Fat distribution in the female differs from that of the male but hormone therapies can offset some of these differences.  Considering the fact that the FDA has not approved liquid silicone and some of the other unprofessionally available injectibles for human use should be warning enough to avoid these types of therapies.  Fat transfers in large enough volumes can have phenomenal results when performed with a nicely contouring liposuction.  Nevertheless achieving the absolute hour glass figure may not be achieveable and a close approximation to that shape is the best that may be possible.

Silicone Injections Buttocks

I have butt injection for 11 years. I did it because I was seeking to have them big. I never did a research or even trying to find out. Should I be concerned in the future?

A: buttock augmentation

The preferred material for augmenting the buttock area is the patient's own fat. This is known as a fat transfer, where the fat is harvested from the abdomen, back or thigh area, then treate/strained, then re-injected into the desired area (buttocks). The fat is safe, from the patient, and does not have the concerns that silicone injections can have(excess scarring, infection). Another option is a solid silicone buttock implant, however, these can shift, migrate, become infected, or develop hard scar tissue surrounding them.

Please consult with a board certified plastic surgeon who is experienced in buttock augmentation prior to scheduling this procedure.

Best wishes,

Dr. Bruno

Removing Silicone Breast Injections and Get Implants After?

I had Silicone breast injections 7 years ago. Now, I can feel lumps on both sides but without pain. I  never also have not had (thankfully) deformity or whatsoever. I would like to remove the injected liquid and get a Breast implants after, is that possible? I have had several ultrasounds and my doctor said it's nothing, but I didn't infrom her about the procedure I had. I also recently consulted a cosmetic surgeon here and was denied for the procedure. I need help, I need a doctor who can help me.

A: Silicone injection to the breast

Removal of a localised silicone injection could be done if the mass could be visualized by imaging techniques. Most commonly I have seen a more diffuse injection of silicone which in extreme cases requires a mastectomy and implant reconstruction. Hope that helps!
