I had radiesse injected in back of my hands approx. 5 weeks ago and then a week after that. At first, the results look great, about two weeks ago they swelled up, a week after went completely down. Now my veins are beginning to bulge out. I had a syringe in half on each hand and spend $2025 ($695 each syringe) total. I would like to know, Is this the final result or should I give it more... more
I've been wanting to try a filler ever since I started noticing my cheeks and nasolabial folds getting more hollow looking over the past few years. Now with my 40th birthday coming up I decided to finally try it. I was so nervous that something might go wrong, but that is part of why I chose to go with Dr. Klein - she's an expert and knowing this helped me feel more confident about it.
This was my first time using fillers and I was a little nervous about going with Radiesse since its not reversible like the others if things go bad. At first, I was worried about the results b/c I could feel the firmness of the injection in my cheeks. But the filler softened after about a week or so and now its soft, just like she told me it would. It's been about 6 weeks since the injection... more
Dr. Klein had originally introduced me to Radiesse to help improve my acne scars. My original treatment lasted close to 16 months.
I like the idea that Radiesse injection is not a harmful foreign substance, but it “safely promotes the growth of my own collegan. The calcium phosphate ions target the scar tissue and create volume to my own skin and wah-lah…acne scars disappear.
I've been a patient of Dr.Kliens for 4 yrs so picking a doctor I could trust was easy for this procedure. Always on the cutting edge, Dr. Klien is highly trained in administering filler. Now using pain ease numbing spray makes preparation for the procedure too easy! Loved that there was no dental block or topical gel to wear prior to my appt!

I had Radiesse fillers done 2 days ago I really like the result the first day. The next day I couldnt see a thing. I had very minimal swelling and a small bruise. My cheeks look the same as they did before. I feel i just wasted my money on something that is not noticeable at all. Very upset. Im going back to see the Dr.after the weekend and ask him what happened. more
I have had Radiesse a few times and I love it. At 34, I have tried Juvederm and Restalyn as well. Neither product worked nearly as well for plumping as Radiesse. Please note that I did not use it under my eyes, which I have heard is not recommended. I had it put in my cheeks, which helped with the hollows under my eyes and in my chin, which helped shape my face. I would recommend Radiesse to... more
I looked in the mirror and had a bit of an identity crisis, I was looking more and more like my mother. If this product had been around when she was alive she would definitely have used it as she looked like her mother!I never said it was not worth it, I am sorry that it appears that I did. more
I hated looking in the mirror. I am just over 40 and since I was in my 20's couldn't my cheeks started to show depressions in them. I felt it aged me very much. My skin looks pretty good by my cheeks just bothered me to the point I didn't want to be in pictures. I am getting married and didn't want that anymore in my life. I decided to take a big chance and I have never done... more
I sought treatment with Radiesse because my face had become alarmingly gaunt at the age of 26.
I am incredibly pleased with my recent treatment by Dr. Klein, which included injections of 2 syringes of Radiesse into my submalar/cheek area. Prior to visiting Dr. Klein my username on Real Self was "Ghoulish Looking," due to the significant loss of facial volume that I had... more
I had Radiesse injected in this area 3 1/2 years ago and it's still mostly there! I had 2 syringes done (one on each side) & it left me overfilled. every year that passes, I keep checking it to see if it's gone down and it barely dissolves. I've spoken with my doctor about this (the one who injected me) & he said the original studies on radiesse were that it lasted 4 years.... more
Depending on your body type and genetic background (take a look at your relatives because that is the future of your face too!) this is an amazing option to look your best. I would also like to add that in my case this will not be something I can just have done once every year but rather cosmetic maintenance that may need a touch up. If you go into the Radiesse experience knowing you may need... more
Used topical arnica, cold pacs, and oral arnica. Had slight bruising immediately following the procedure with swelling diminishing to redness after a day. Although I had half a dose, it was enough to make a difference. more
I had my cheeks and jowls injected. My doc said my skin was thick, so it would take a lot to do it. Consequently, I had three vials, $900 for the first and 600 and 600. It looked pretty good, although I probably could have used another vial. It stayed the same for the first three months and then my face gradually started to go back to where it was. It's almost there now, seven months later... more
Had 2 vials, one in each side of cheek. left side was fine; right side hurt when injected and then bruised. Later it swelled, then tiny blisters appeared on the side of my nose down to my mouth along the laugh line. It got a blood test and it wasn't herpes as my Derm. had suggested. Turns out it was a shock to the nerve that cause an outbreak of shingles. Not fun.

I had Radiesse injected into my cheekbones and my cheek folds, and I am so happy with the results. I did not experience any pain whatsoever! I was so nervous and thought it was going to really hurt, and it didn't. On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd say the pain was a 1. The doctor was very careful and did a great job! I will definetely do this again. more
I looked in the mirror and my face was melting! Dr K worked her magic with the radiesse. I asked about Botox (remember you have to ask)and she presented all my options on the spot. She knows her stuff. I will be back!
What were the results? Fantastic! They were visible on the spot. I am writing this within two hours of the treatment and am tickled with the results! more
I've had three rounds of Radiesse in the last two years and I can say that the first two were great and I had a really nice result. Not much pain and very little bruising. I went to a new place where they consistently have much much lower prices on all their fillers but this time I was way overinjected and now I look like the Joker from Batman.
She overinjected me at the top of my... more
