I used to have a very short forehead. I had it enhanced using laser treatment. It is longer and looks good when I have my hair down, but it looks very fake if I pull my hair up! You can see a very unnatural hair line. Can you tell me if there is anything I can do to give my forehead a more natural look? Thanks,
I am not sure if you had laser hair removal to widened your forehead by surgical procedure? However, If it was laser hair removal, then some hairs may grow back, but the definitive treatment is follicular hair transplant or forehead reduction which involves removal of forehead skin close to the hairline. The transplant done by an experienced surgeon would look very natural. Hair plugs were done in 70's. Check out their before and after pictures or talk to actual patients if you decided to go this route.
I'm a female in my 30's with a square, flat somewhat high forehead.Along with having a square jaw, as I get older, both are making my face appear masculine.I'm interested in the reverse brow lift for lifting around my eyes & lowering of my hairline but wondering if it's possible to "round-out" my forehead during this procedure to a more feminine look. Also wondering about removing the frown muscle & is there a way to remove a bulging forehead vein that comes and goes.
All the the procedures you mentioned could be performed. It is difficult to counsel you without actually seeing photographs. I can usually bring down the hairline about 1 and one half inches. Once the area is open, other procedures, like refining and feminizing, reshaping the forehead bone may be done.
I like my eyes and eyebrows as they are now. I simply want to reduce the height of my forehead, for I feel it looks a little disproportionate. I've read about brow lifts and such, but I don't want to have a more "alert" or "surprised" look after surgery. Age:20
