Not going for the lift. I had implants before and explanted and although they looked deflated at first, they looked better than before implants! I've also been inspired by all of you lovelies here on real self. :). And I found the explantology website which is inspirational for not getting a lift. I wish I had never messed with my body. My breasts are always uncomfortable and sometimes painful. more
I had 250cc saline implants put in shortly after having my first child. I've been happy with them, I've breast fed two children with no issues, they even looked more natural afterwards. I don't think I've suffered any ill effects from the whole thing, although I am always tired...but I kind of attribute that to middle age, motherhood and employment.
The last few years I've gained about 30... more
Hi! I'm about 3 weeks postop, and couldn't be happier. I had my explant done at the Ontario Kaiser Permanente Surgical Center on March 30th, 2015, by Dr. Chui, a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, and I consider myself very blessed to have had him! The procedure took approx 3-1/2 hours which included a capsulectomy. Drain tubes were also inserted and remained in for 9 days. The removal of the... more
I had my Allergan silicone gel implants placed in June 2011. I was 29 at the time and was done having kids. I had wanted implants since I was 9 years old. I used to tell people I had "triangle boobs" before getting implants. In hindsight, I had great, natural boobs. After nursing, all I really needed was a good lift. But NO! There was always that desire to have implants, so I went for it... more
First of all, I want to say this site is amazing! I have been reading through the posts over the past 2 months and I want to say thank you to all of you women for your vulnerability and courage in sharing your pictures and experiences. This has helped me to come to my decision to finally have my breast implants removed. I have been contemplating this for a few years, and the time has... more
I have had breasts implants for almost 17 years and I am ready to be natural again. I was a full B cup size before implantation, but I was also very thin back then (before kids) at 5'4" and weighing 115 pounds. After implants (+25 pounds weight gain after kids) my implants are DD cup size. Yikes... That's huge!!! My implants are saline 390cc, placed under the muscle. I am now, 17 years older... more
As several of the beautiful women here, I too, and didn't know it then, was needing a fixing something more on the inside than the outward appearance. I had my BA, 31 years ago, during a time when my first marriage was breaking...my breasts then seemed to have been the focal point of my "need fixing," then for sure things will be alright! Not so!
Eight years later, I became a Christian... more
Hi ladies.. I've been so nervous, scared, upset, and unsure of my upcoming surgery. I regret ever ever getting my breast implants... I had a small size b and decided to get 374 saline cc when I was 24.. Little did I know that this would be the biggest mistake of my life! I've had 4 reconstructive surgeries, saline to silicone, 375 to 300 ccs, and have done the protein matrix. Literally I've... more
I got my implants when I was 19, and I have 350cc silicone. I was able to get silicone because my surgeon deemed me to have a congenital deformity, 'tuberous breasts'. I had a fairly mild case but definitely was what I was dealing with. I did a LOT of research over the course of about three years leading up to my surgery, so I felt that I was being smart about it. I wasn't doing it for anyone... more
2004 was when I got my breast implants. I was a 32a. My implants are 500cc saline under muscle. 11years 3kids later I want them removed but I'm afraid of what they will look like. Like all of us small breasted girls I was made fun of and hated wearing bathing suits and clothes. I didnt even have enough boob for cleavage! Ugh now its 11 years later I'm regretting that I couldn't have accepted... more
I have had my orginal small (b) implants over the muscle for 30 years. As you can see, I was a very small (A or AA) and I thought they were saline but must be silicone since they have not deflated (can't find the original paperwork). I have had no ill effects or problems until recently. My right side was ruptured on the chiropractic table I believe a year ago. I had bruising on the top right... more
I have been debating for quite sometime now whether or not to remove or replace my implants. With the help of realself and numerous surgeon consults, I've decided an explant is the best option for me. Prior to breast implants, I was a large A-Cup (unfortunately, I do not have any photos pre-op). I went with high profile, 420cc saline implants. I was happy with the results (don't get me wrong),... more
For my own comfort I decided to remove the implants after 6 years. I had had a mommy makeover including a breast lift with augmentation. The busty part just didn't seem like me. Procedure was quick in the office with local and a mild sedative. Minimal discomfort after easily controlled with Tylenol. So far I am quite pleased with the results.
So I thought I would show the side view... more
First I need to thank this site and everyone who has posted. I've been obsessed with your reviews and pics.
I was young, had a child at 18 and had lost much of my breast tissue. I felt cheated that I had hardly had a chance to enjoy my young perky full breasts. I went from a 32B to a 32AA. Looking back they were perfect for my body type. I was 5'5" and weighed only 100 pounds. No... more
I had silicone implants done in 2006, I had no problems with them until 2010, after a car accident that jarred my back and shoulders. I have had ankle, knee and left shoulder surgery because of the accident. I still have back and shoulder issues and have been contemplating this surgery since 2013. I have reviewed many of the explants and lifts and have decided to do it!
I'm excited and... more
Hello ladies! I have been reading all of your reviews for the past few months now. Thank you all so much for sharing your stories and explant journeys, they are extremely helpful! I am 25 years of age and I have two children, both of which I breast fed for around 6 months. I had 600cc saline implants placed under the muscle summer of 2013. It has been just over a year now and I can no longer... more
I have had 4 surgeries. I naturally had one breast d and one breast b tubuerous. I had 3 reconstruction and reduction surgerys. The last was my implant surgery thought yay last one. After being diagnosed with fibromyalgia and experiencing terrible breast pain I am now having them taken out. Kaiser Permanente in Ontario plastic surgery will bedoing the procedure. I am scared I don't know... more
So. I wrote a whole bit about the background of these things and I just erased it. Doesn't matter. My story is not unique. Insecurity led to implants. I was 20 so I've had implants longer than I haven't. I first got saline - around 375, unders. I was a a 34A before and then a 34C.
In the years since they've been ok. Looked natural. No big issues.
Almost 2 years ago, with a new PS I got a... more
I first had my breast implants in when I was 28. PS said they were a bit high, so he would re-do them two years later. At age 30, I had my second set of implants put in under the muscle. I was originally an A cup and I was so small that the recovery was extremely painful. I had to ice them; I used frozen peas which came in handy. I loved my boobs as I'm small on top and bigger on bottom,... more
Hi, just a short intro since I am post op and in a little pain. I'm 42 and got implants put in at 22. I was never really motivated by anything other than to make them even. One was a smaller size and I was originally a B cup. I told my original surgeon in Atlanta that I did not want to go over a C. Well, I woke up a D and have regretted my decision ever since. I would give anything if I would... more
