Can Artefill over Stimulate Collagen?

Can Artefill over Stimulate Collagen?

A: Artefill can stimulate collagen, probably not Over-stimulate it

When I place Artefill I suggest to patients to plan on a 50% decrease in the volume we place.  Since a large portion of the filler is made of collagen and lidocaine, the patients will see this decrease after about 3 months.  However the remainder stays.

Having the poly-methyl-methacrylate beads which are permanent does stimulate some collagen, although not as much as the amount of collagen that dissipates.  I don't think that Artefill can over-stimulate collagen synthesis.

Good luck in your search for information.

Can Artefill Fix my Nose?

It's Kind of Large and Plus I Want to Smooth the Bridge on my Nose and Enhancement. Also I am curious if artefill can fix my ears too and my cheeks and jawbone?

A: filler rhinoplasty

The vast majority of nasal deformities cannot be be significant=truly improved by non surgical means. If the picture you submitted is truly representative of your nose, the only thing that fillers such as ArteFill can do is to give you a larger more Grecian looking nose. You need a rhinoplasty.

In my opinion, injectible fillers would do little to improve your ears and there are other implants that are much better for cheeks and chins.
