Hi I really want a breast augmentation, i am 38 yrs old have breast feed , my children are now teenagers, no plans for any other children. I initially didnt want a breat lift but have realised i need one, but i am very scared of the scars. could i have a cresent style breast lift and implants??
I could see a periareolar lift instead of a crescent lift. A crescent would also leave a less than ideal scar do to what you what to accomplish. It will also not lift very much and the areola can stretch into an elongated shape.. A periarolar is a reasonable compromise and accomplish a fair lift. my website has some before and afters.
Note:
The periareola lift creates a round somewhat flat breast do to the purse string effect. The vertical short scar gives a conical look.
I am considering a Breast Lift (and augmentation) and a Tummy Tuck. I am very active and in good overall shape. I have 2 children one is 3 and one is 5 months .
My husband will be home with me for two weeks after the surgery. Will I be able to lift my baby if I rest up for the 2 weeks or should I seek additional support?
We advise our patients that 2 weeks would be an average recovery time. At this point you may still have some discomfort on lifting your child but you can certainly do it without harming the results of surgery.
