I'm 20 years old and in college. I am currently a size 34G and I've been waiting for this surgery practically since I was 12! I think in 3rd grade I already had noticeable breasts. By freshman year in highschool I was a D cup, and they have only grown larger since then. When I was younger I took pride in having larger breasts, because I was the first to have them out of all my friends. By... more

The girls in the office are always following up with me, with phone calls and doctor visits- making sure everything looks great, which they do :) I am very pleased with everyone at this office ad Dr. Cruise has a special gift... more
Since all of the posts before me helped me in many ways, I thought it is time to write mine. Not ready to send pics yet but here is my story...... I'm 45 mother of 2. I've always had large breast to the point I was called Dollie in high school. I reached size 38dd but spilling out. Refused to buy larger size. Also lefty was larger than the rt. I was refused by insurance about a year ago then... more
Dr. Song was recommended to me via my breast cancer tumor surgeon. Things had moved so fast in my case that I was Ill equipped to pick or interview a plastic surgeon and everything you read in advance just evaporated from my brain. I sat in his office and he said "Are there any questions I can answer for you?" and I basically said 'This is all happening so fast, my surgery has moved up many... more
I have a little over a month before my surgery and although I'm so excited to buy regular clothes and bras, I'm nervous about all the unknowns. I'm a 34 DDD. I weigh 165 right now and I'm trying to get down to 155 before my surgery. I'm not sure this is possible anymore. I'm worried that if my belly sticks out further than my boobs I'll get depressed. Christmas is the worst time to lose... more

Overall extremely satisfied. I am fairly new to Kaiser, within a year and a half as a member, and although I was advised it was a lengthy process to qualify, I went for the breast reduction class (required before consult with plastic surgeon) and was scheduled for mid July. When I had called to see about changing a post op appointment I was offered a sooner surgery date. I took it as it fit my... more
I feel for the girls that need a breast augmentation because they feel their breasts are too small. But us big girls have problems too! I "developed early" and have had chronic back problems because of the weight on my front side. (At least, that was part of it, according to my chiropractor, and why my insurance helped out.) I decided to have my full DD reduced to a small C, and they fit me... more
I waited to have a reduction simply because I was scared. When I finally got so tired of having dents in my shoulders, sweat under my breasts when I work out and a cleavage in my neck, I made the decision to have it done. I dont remember a lot of pain other than not sleeping at night for a few nights. The results were amazing and I couldn't be happier. more
Hello! So I stumbled upon this forum while on my adventure to breast reduction. I'm 23 and for a long time I've really hated how large my breasts are. My measurements are currently 40-28-35, 5'7.5 and 150 pounds. I've suffered from random headaches, back pain, neck pain and shoulder pain. Heck, sometimes I get so tired carrying these things around that I just rest them on the table when I'm... more
Dr. Horowitz has been my surgeon for two different procedures. My first procedure was a breast reduction surgery. Prior to our first meeting, I was very uncomfortable with my chest and the idea of showing a doctor made me very nervous. I was relieved during my first appointment, when Dr. Horowitz made me feel comfortable and understood. He was respectful and aware of the complicated emotions I... more
I finally had breast reduction surgery and went from a GG to a DD. I met with 4 ASPS board certified plastic surgeons in Orange County, CA and finally chose one after a year of consults & research. I have a very low tolerance for pain & this was WAY better than I feared. It was NOT painful, just very sore. I used the pain pills for about 2 days and then nothing. After 2 weeks, the... more
