Can I Get my Back Fat Lipo'ed at the Same Time As Tummy Tuck?

I hate my back fat. I tried taking a photo but as soon as I raise my arm to take picture , the roll of fat leaves .

A: Yes, Combination is Good

Combining posterior body contouring (the flanks and back) is very common in my practice. I feel that you get a better overall contouring with minimal increased risk. OR time is longer and repositioning is necessary. I think this is a great combination in patients who need it. Good Luck!

Would Liposuction Be Safe For Me Even If I've Had a Dystal Pancreatectomy With Spleen Removal?

Two years ago I had a non-malignant tumor which required a dystal pancreatectomy with spleen removal. Would liposuction be safe for me? I am an avid exerciser who is in excellent health.

A: Liposuction Will Be Safe Assuming...

It sounds as though you have your medical issues under control. If that is true, then the only real concern is whether or not you have a hernia under the incision. That can be determined by your surgeon at the time of consultation. Good Luck!

4 Weeks Liposuction Post Op., Am I Still Swollen Or Are These My Final Results?

I had lower abs, flanks and mons pubic liposuctioned 4 weeks 3 days ago. I had more results at 2 weeks then I do now. Is it possible to still be swollen? Seems like results are slowly going and the pubic area 200cc of fat was removed but seems like there is not much of a difference at all. I'm frustrated because I dont "feel" swollen anymore. Is it possible to be swollen still or is this my end result?

A: Lipo results take time.

The jury is out on your final liposuction results until 3-6 monthd have passed. Be patient, the results will slowly improve with time. Goo Luck!
