Given the degree of droopiness of the breasts and position of the nipple, I would recommend an anchor mastopexy. A vertical mastopexy is possible, but the degree of elevation necessary would make that approach a little more unpredictable. Scars can be problematic no matter which approach is utilized. Good Luck!
Well one day I want a breast lift, but I wondered oes a breast lift decrease the size of the breast slightly? Do I really need breast implants?
A mastopexy is designed to remove only skin, elevate the nipple, and make the breast firmer, and higher. Although only skin is removed, the total volume of the breast mound is decreased and volume is affected. I would certainly consider implants in your case to give more superior fill. Good Luck
I am considering a breast lift and liposuction to the arms, flanks, and abdomen. I received a consult and the Dr said it should be no more than 6 hrs under general anestesia. Does this sound like two many procedures at once?
A mastopexy and liposuction of the areas you describe are safe together as long as you are in good health. Other factors to consider are the length of surgery ( 5-6 hours as an outpatient is generally ok) and the amount of fat to be removed ( I limit to about 4000 cc as an outpatient in combined procedures).
