What Types of Breast Implants Use Body Fat, Instead of Silicone?

Is it true that this type of surgery is safer for people with allergies to synthetic materials?

A: Fat Not Used in Breast Implants

Fat is not incorporated into any breast implant - they are made of silicone or saline. Fat may be injected into the breast. This is a separate type of procedure and is still somewhat controversial.

My Breast Look Different After 3 Months Post Op, is this Normal? (photo)

I have 3 months post op of my breast augmentation. I have 340cc implants, silicone, under the muscle. The left i think is perfect but the right one i feel like moving and not adhere and looks different What do you think? Thanks

A: Nice Result

It is difficult to make a determination without pre-op photos, but your post-op result is very good. The "final" result is not complete for about 6 months, so you may change more.

Should I Massage my 290cc Natrelle 410MF Implants?

Before 2 months I had an operation and my doctor used 290cc Natrelle 410MF implants. Since 1 month every day I am massaging them in order to make them soft, but I don't know if I am doing it right. My doctor is abroad at the moment and I can't reach him...After the operation he informed me that half of the implant is placed under the muscle and half under my breast.Sometimes after the massage I have ache in my breasts, because of this reason and I am afraid if I could change the shape.Regards,

A: Massage Not Necessary

Implant massage is a remnant of the "old" days when it was thought to decrease the rate of capsular contracture. I do not belive it is of much help. In addition, it is painful, can make the pocket too large, and in most cases is unnecessary.
