At first I thought the pig appearance was due to the cast. It didn't change when cast came off. I did not ask for my tip to be rotated at all, but he was reducing the width of my tip and taking out a cleft. For some reason, now my tip is high up. Making my nose too short for my face. I also have almost twice the size nostrils now, one being very larger than other and a hanging collumena. I'm too embarrassed to see anyone. He says it's swelling, but I'm not sure. I can't see how this can change
Tip swellilng is normal for many months after rhinoplasty. It is important to have patience as you heal. Check in with your doctor periodically.

I've been touching my nose A LOT after rhinoplasty and accidently hit my nose twice. After reading how bad touching it is after rhinoplasty I am TERRIFIED that I have caused some damage to my new nose. Right now my nose still looks perfect. I have thick skin and have not noticed any changes. and I hate myself for possibly ruining my new nose. I am 2 weeks post op and 1 week has passed since the cast was removed. Do you think I have ruined my nose??
It sounds like everything is fine. If you are concerned ask your doctor. Be kind to you nose and try not to bang it again.

I don't really want to change anything else about my nose but I feel that my columella / nostril base is disproportionately wide. I live in the SF Bay Area, what would an estimate be for this type of procedure?
The most important thing to understand about nose surgery is that when you change one thing it can often affect other things about the nose. Many patients have only one thing that bothers them about their nose but changing that can affect how other parts of the nose look. Computer imaging is sometimes helpful here and I encourage all my rhinoplasty patients to do this exercise with any prospective physician (not an assistant) to make sure there both patient and physician are on the same page before any surgery is performed.
