I am a 41 yr old female and I weigh about 285 lbs. My height is 5 ft 9 in. How much weight must I lose to have a Body lift?
Generally it is good to lose enough to be at your "ideal" weight ( whatever that means). Practically, you should be at a weight where you are healthy and stable ( can keep steady at that weight). Your physician can help you figure out what that is. With those too caveats, the higher the ratio of skin to fat the more effective a body lift will be.
Hope that helps.

I understand that most of the time, body lift surgery isn't covered by medical insurance, but in certain cases it is. What are the normal criteria for having a body lift paid for by insurance?
a "body lift" by definition is not an insurance covered procedure because lifting your body is a cosmetic procedure. Sometimes removing the excess skin of the abdomen can be covered if it is causing medical problems. The challenge is to convey to an insurance company what is "needed" and what is "wanted".
Good luck

I am 17 years old and I weigh 236lbs and I have always been a big size since I was a little girl, I was wondering if my skin sags and covers my private area, would it be possible to be removed and make my body look good. Also if i would be able to remove saggy skin from my arms and fat from my thighs all at once?
Body lifts are best after you have lost weight. These procedures work best if you have loose skin and less fat. Body lifts are excellent for removal of extra skin and for "aprons" of skin and fat hanging down. The first step is getting the weight down.
Hope that helps
