Will Rhinoplasty Affect my Singing? To correct deviated septum, will it effect a person singing?

A: deviated septum affect singing

All structures in the nose that affect air flow can affect your singing. If not enough air is getting in you will sound nasal, if too much air (very rare) then you sound airy.

Rhinoplasty Cast/Splint Removal on Day 10 - Good or Bad Idea? Currently day 5 post op of closed rhinoplasty. I was supposed to be going Wednesday morning to have the cast/splint removed (day 7) but my husband cannot make it during the day (nobody else knows of my surgery) and the surgeon isnt available in the evening. Are there any disadvantage/advantages to delaying the removal till Saturday (day 10)?

A: Taking offf splint on day 10

There is no problem with removing spint on day 10 although it is usually removed on day 7. On day 7 you also need to have your columellar sutures removed if you underwent an open rhinoplasty. Please note that leaving sutures in on your columella past 7 days may result in stitch scars, called railroad tracking.

Rhinoplasty in June/July - How Will It Affect my Summer? I'm 18/f. I got kicked in the nose a few weeks ago, and my ENT said it is definitely broken.I'm getting a septoplasty/rhinoplasty done at the beginning of summer. My question is, how will the procedure affect my normal summer activities (swimming, tanning, etc)? Will it look normal by the time I go to college in September?

All physical activities including sports must be avoided for the first month unitl the nasal bones have fused and healed.
