My upper Blepharoplasty was covered by insurance because it had reduced my peripheral vision. While it's a fairly simple procedure, my recovery wasn't as quick as doctors will tell you it will be. Allow about two weeks and then, even with ice compresses and arnica cream, the redness may still be noticeable. Overall, I recommend the procedure.
