Dr. Refuses to Do HP Implants... Should I Be Getting 2nd Opinion?

Hello Dr's. My current PS refuses to do HP implants because she says they look fake and torpedo like. I'm very slender and tall. My stats are: 5'7.5 118lbs BWD:11.5cm ribcage:28in I did state that I wanted more projection and tried on mod+350 and 375. The nurse let me try on HP 375 before I saw the Dr. and I really liked the look of those. My question to you would be, am a good candidate for HP implants? I don't want to be denied the opportunity if I am, and my Dr. doesn't do them anymore.

A: Get another opinion

I suggest that you get another opinion .  It sounds like the HP implants would be perfect for you.  Good Luck.  Dr Grant Stevens.

Would You Advise For/against 350cc High Profile Implants for This Petite Mother of 2? (photo)

The pictures show my breasts as they were when I decided to stop nursing my 2nd child. They have since then shrunk into less than 32A. No droop, but some loose skin. Now I want them back, and maybe even a bit more. I'm 28, 5'4", 110lbs (not much body fat at all) and my BWD is about 10cm. I've played with rice sizers, and I felt good with ones filled to 350cc. That has made me think that HP is the way to go. I just don't want them to look extremely round and fake. What are your thoughts?

A: You are on the right track.

Given your narrow breast width I think that the HP implants would be best for you also.  Good Luck.  Dr Grant Stevens

Can a Torn Pocket Under my Breast Implant Be Repaired... My Surgeon Says No.. Really?

I had a breast augmentation 6 months ago.(440 cc silicone under the muscle) My breasts looked amazing. Last month I fell and injured my left breast. My surgeon says I have a lateral tear in the pocket of my left breast and he cannot repair it. Is this correct? I have lost the fullness on the top part of that breast and it is now visible wider than the other.

A: Implant Malposition Can Be Corrected

The pocket can be sutured , a new pocket can be made ( neo sub pectoral ) , adm such as alloderm or stratice can be used to correct implant malposition.   I would need to see your photos and or examine you to know what the best approach would be.   Good Luck.   Dr Grant Stevens
