Why Does my Surgeon Tell Me That Revision Rhinoplasty is Risky? (photo)

I had a closed rhinoplasty 7 months ago. However, I hate my results. The tip is too bulky and wide. My surgeon tells me that nothing should be done because it "suits me". He says that revision might ruin the look of my nose because the "paths" are not as wide as before and an accident might happen during operation. Also, I have breathing problems, he says that I have an allergy that was insinuated by the previous operation somehow. I want to know what could and what could not be done to my nose.

A: Why Does my Surgeon Tell Me That Revision Rhinoplasty is Risky?

You should ask your Rhinoplasty Surgeon why he thinks it's risky.  There's always the possibility of you having several second opinions with experioenced Rhinoplasty Surgeons.  Be sure that the one, you choose, understands and follows the proper aesthetics of facial (and nasal) beauty for the creatiuon of a naturally more attrcative nose and face.

Unhappy With Revision Rhino, Nostrils Are Uneven and Need Scar Revision. What Do You Suggest? (photo)

Hello , i had a revision rhino this summer and not happy with the result. what needs to be done to have even nostrils and redo bad scar from open rhino and breathing problem from right nostril?? i know i have to wait 1 year but can you tell me who can i trust to fix my nose in canada or should i go in texas?? Help me !!!!

A: Unhappy With Revision Rhino, Nostrils Are Uneven and Need Scar Revision. What Do You Suggest?

If you do not wish to return to your previous Rhinoplasty Surgeon for some reason, I suggest having a few consultations for Revision Rhinoplasty being certain to select one not only with experience but one that understands and follows the proper aesthetics of facial (and nasal) beauty for the creation of a naturally, more attractive nose and face.  If this means that you have to travel elsewhere, then you should do so.

Alar Base Is Wide and Thick after Primary Surgery. Is a Suture Cinch Method The Right Call?

I had nose surgery before, nasal bones were broken. Alar bases looks wide and thick. My doctor wants the suture cinch to narrow the frontal part. Does it going to affect my upper lip or my smile? What are the risks?

A: Alar Base Is Wide and Thick after Primary Surgery. Is a Suture Cinch Method The Right Call?

Photos, of your nose from the base view and front would be required in order to make the determination if an alar bunching suture would be helpful.
