I first saw this provider on a tv show called Dr 90210 a few years back, and then ran across him again while researching doctor's now.. During my consultaion Dr, Motykie was very professional and answered all my questions honestly, I also liked the fact that he didnt seem to rush through my consultation or push me into this surgery. And no the fact that Dr Motykie was on t.v had nothing to do with my decision to have him do my surgery :-) Ovedall my experience has been good and I cant wait to see my final results!

I just had a revision Rhinoplasty with Dr Motykie 4/19/12 and now about 10 days later I couldnt be happier my nose looks amazing and so natural dr motykie made my nose look so feminine keeping in mine that it has only been 10 days and my nose is still considerable swollen it already looks much much better then before. I will forever be greatful to Dr Motykie for giving me my nose of my dreams

Dr. Motykie is amazing, and so is his work! During my consultations with him, he was very cognizant about making sure all my questions and concerns were answered. I never got the feeling that he was too busy to spend extra time with me. The staff was great and punctual, I never had to worry about anything and when you're already nervous about surgery to begin with, there's nothing you want more than to feel like you're being taken care of. During my recovery, I followed other people's blogs who documented their tummy tuck healing process and procedures with other doctors and to be honest, I seemed to be healing at a much quicker rate than them and with less scaring too -- this sealed the deal for me that I picked the right doctor. I chose Dr. Motykie after a friend referred me to him. I am so happy to have had Dr. Motykie as my plastic surgeon. I had given up hope after having previous rhinoplasty with other surgeons. I still wasn't happy with my nose, and was motivated by my sister to go have a consultation with Dr. Motykie. After seeing him, he totally understood what I wanted. He gave me hope that I could finally be happy with my appearance, and I definitely am. My nose looks fantastic. It now matches the rest of my face. He was able to make it significantly smaller while still looking very natural. I can't stop looking at my new nose in the mirror. I am extremely pleased with the results. I 100% trust Dr. Motykie. I feel a good plastic surgeon needs to have a good artistic eye, and Dr. Motykie definitely does. I also know several other people who had breast surgery with him, and they all have had great results as well. I wish I went to Dr. Motykie from the start. He was worth every penny! Also, his office is clean and relaxing, and his office staff is very friendly and attenitive.

My nose did not come out as good as I had expected. The nostrils are asymmetric, one side of my nose is con caved in and looks very strange when I smile. My skin is horrible after that peel. Also, I can't get in touch with anyone from the office. Whenever I e-mail them something negative like, "my skin is messed up," they ignore me. How rude.I wish I would have had my rhinoplasty some where else. Not impressed. No one has told me I look better. I regret my decision.

Breast Implants

I had my breast done as well as some liposuction to my abdomen area. Both results were horrible. He attempted to fix his work with no luck. I found him to be a real nice guy at first, likeable, and seemed very knowledgeable. But in the end my results are horrible and he has the bedside manner of a used car salesman. Once you drive off the lot, there is no way to get ahold of him or get youre money back when your "car" (body) is broken down. I would not recommend this doctor. I feel like his skills as a plastic surgeon are lacking and If I had to do it all over again I would have went to a more skilled surgeon. His follow up skills with his patients is also lacking. Overall grade: D-

Him and his staff are soo nice to you when you are giving them money. But when they mess up and your not handing them money they treat you like dirt. Dr. Moykie took 14k from me ruined my looks, told me he would fix it, then ran and refuses to fix the mistake. Stay away from this surgeon!

Rhinoplasty

I knew I wanted to have primary rhinoplasty, and recalled the beautiful results I'd seen again and again from Dr. Motykie when he appeared on the Dr. 90210 reality show. Seeing more of his work made it a no-brainer to select him as a surgeon. If you are wanting primary rhinoplasty, I couldn't recommend Dr. Motykie any more highly, and if you were my friend - I would literally force you to go to him over another surgeon. That being said, it isn't all roses. He earned his 5 stars, but if you're reading this review you should know the problems I did have. First, I'm an out of town patient and their office support is really set up for people there in person. It took me 3 months from the time of my consultation to get a quote that included what my insurance would cover (deviated septum). The office is incredibly busy, and the staff spends most of the day with patients scheduled for surgery. I wish I had traveled to the office for my consultation, that way I would have met everyone and had a better understanding of the fact that everyone is sweet and hard-working. I can easily label this office understaffed. You really have to be on top of them. They barely got my insurance claim in on time. If they had actually been in my network and subject to the usual 90 day time limit, I'm fairly certain I would have been screwed. You prepay them, but insurance can deny a claim on really thin grounds. My advice is to assume you'll get nothing from insurance and consider it a bonus if you do. I truly believe he is a visionary, an artist, and a master when it comes to noses. It might sound like a bit much to say, but I promise it is the absolute truth. :)
