I heard about Dr. Svehlak through a friend who also had surgery with him and had great results. He was very informative and patient with me throughout the consultation phase which I appreciated. His staff was supportive and available to answer all my questions. And his before and after pictures told me that I could trust him to make my breasts look great. If anyone is experiencing back pain or unhappy with their breasts I want you to go see Dr Svehlak for a consultation, he is an artist!

My experience with Dr Steven Svehlak was simply excellent. He is passionate about what he does, and genuinely cares about his patients and their results.I found this practice and liked it from the moment I arrived. The office staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, they made me feel right at home.I couldn't have asked for a better team for my surgery. Dr.Steven Svehlak is absolutely amazing, he makes you feel very comfortable and he is very open about every step of the process. He explains everything, is very patient and answers every question you have. He's not only a doctor,he's an ARTIST,he knows exactly what he's doing!!! I am so glad I made the decision to have him as my doctor! Dr. Svehlak Steven is the best ear surgeon that I have ever come across!! I have researched many doctors and trust me most of them only do ear pins. But Dr. Svehlak is the only one that can do a wonderful job of entire ear reconstruction, changing the whole ear structure, making it smaller and not change the shape of your ear. THANK YOU Dr.Svehlak,You changed my life!!!!!!! Two thumbs up!!!

Dr. is definitely an artist, plus he is great at numbing areas he is working with so there is minimal pain and bruising. Plus, he is very ethical - tried to even talk me out of some procedures.

I interviewed 9 different Plastic Surgeons and Dr. Svehlak twice and made the decision to have my procedure done with him for a few reasons. First of all I did all the requisite research and explored his site, examples of his work etc. etc. and all of that was stellar...great reviews everywhere. For my first consultation he took ALOT of time to talk to me...a good hour. He LISTENED to me and he did not make me feel like I was decrepit as some others tried to make me feel. He told me I needed a minimal amount of work which I felt and suggested I do a Plasma Skin Resurfacing which might address most of what bothered me. After a second consult with him I decided that I would do that first (I also want to tighten my neck with a little lipo which I am going to do down the road and was considering fat transfer to my face). He said he thought it was good I was doing the Plasma first because I might not even want to do the other two. What physician says that?? I had the Plasma done 8 days ago and yes it hurt (just like he said it would where he could not effectively numb it) and I looked absolutely gross for about 5 days but I am on my 8th day, I look FANTASTIC, just a little pink. My skin hasn't looked this good in ages! I can already see some tightening which he said will keep improving. He did miss one small spot and is going to redo that in a few weeks but I am thrilled beyond words. I think he is an exceptional Doctor besides an exceptional person and would HIGHLY recommend meeting with him before jumping into anything.

Dr. Svehak was the third doctor I met with, and after meeting with two more after him I went back. He spent so much time with me, about an hour and a half just in our initial consult. I never felt rushed or like he had anywhere else to be. He is kind and has a great bedside manner, and helped make me feel at ease the morning of surgery. My husband really liked him as well, which is unusual. I have already recommended him to a friend who is interested in an augmentation and I would do so to anyone else interested in a procedure. I found Dr. Svehlak through a Google search for Los Angeles plastic surgery.

I went to Dr. Svehlak for years for my Botox and still do, but last year I decided to finally have my breasts done. I had wanted to do it for years but was afraid. After getting to know Dr. Svehlak and seeing how much time and care he takes with me I knew he would do a good job, and he did. He gave me the fullness back which I had prior to having my son, and also evened out my nipples a little, which were slightly different sizes. He really cares about his patients and i would recommend him to anyone looking for a skilled plastic surgeon who listens and does natural looking work.

Cream rises to the top. Dr. Svehlak is an excellent, precise surgeon who values his work, and his patients. He made me feel comfortable and very much at ease. Important to note: his staff is warm, kind, and welcoming. The doctor spent a great deal of time explaining the procedure, and how he planned to achieve the best results...

After years of researching plastic surgeons and various methods; Worrying about selecting the right doctor; Feeling bad and embarrassed about my ears, I'm now happy to pass on my first-hand experience to anyone who has found their way to this site. Do yourself a favor, look no further than Dr. Steven Svehlak! Set up a consultation appointment now for yourself or your child and then book a date for the best gift you will ever give yourself or someone you love. After finally narrowing down the best plastic surgeons in Los Angeles and Beverly Hills, I decided on Dr. Svehlak. I can't be any more thankful and happy that I did! Everyone at Sunset Cosmetic Surgery was really lovely. I never felt any pressure or awkwardness and the entire staff is empathetic and real with you. In my initial consultation with Dr. Svehlak we discussed all the variables of my situation as well as the step-by-step order of correcting and balancing my ears. I must say that I know I asked a lot of questions but Dr. Svehlak answered every one of them patiently, professionally, and succinctly. I got that "feeling" that Dr. Svehlak was the right man for the job. Believe it or not, out of all of my other consultations with plastic surgeons, Dr. Svehlak was the only surgeon to take out a measuring device to estimate how much each ear needed to be set back. Also, without me mentioning to him first, Dr. Svehlak confirmed my own thoughts regarding correcting my right ear first because it involved the least work, followed then by correcting the left ear to match it. My left ear, as I mentioned before, needed to have a natural fold created in my ear bowl that was missing. After that antihelix was created from the backside of my ear, permanent sutures would reinforce the natural curved fold that the Dr. would sculpt. After my consultation with Dr. Svehlak was complete, I went into another office to get an estimate of what my procedure would cost. This was handled very smoothly and classy, and very fair I might add. Over the years of getting estimates for my Otoplasty I was given prices ranging from $9K to $6,500. It's never been about the money, but the dramatic swing of some surgeon's offices felt like I was being gouged. That's why I was shocked and pleasantly surprised that my surgery performed by Dr. Svehlak was quoted at $4,500 complete. Although I was ready to "pull the trigger" on preceding with my surgery, I wanted to reflect on all of it for 24 hours. (Also, I had another consultation the next day that I had set up months in advance.) Again, there was no pressure from anyone and they were very understanding to my needing to think it over more. 2 days later I called Sunset Cosmetic Surgery to book my otoplasty procedure with Dr. Svehlak. I initially set up a date for well over a month away, but I asked that if any cancellations should occur, that would free up the Dr.'s schedule, I would be more than ecstatic to come in sooner for my procedure. And what do you know, the next day I was informed that an early morning slot on August 3rd had opened up and would I want to advance my surgery. Yes! Although it was just a week away I knew the time was right. I was given all of my instructions for preparing for my surgery and I felt that the attention to my understanding was very thorough. Dr. Svehlak, I am thankful, grateful, and humbled by your ability and precision. You are amazing and you are truly the combination of skilled surgeon and exacting artist. If I had it to do all over again, I'd do it just the same, only sooner!

I am highly disappointed with the performance of Dr. Svehlak. I trusted Dr. Svehlak to make an informed decision in selecting an appropriate treatment to enhance my appearance. Unfortunately, he ultimately made the decision to perform a very invasive cosmetic procedure on me that was completely in appropriate for my age range and particular case. This procedure has dramatically altered my appearance in a negative manner and his work has left me with a very visible 1 inch scar accross my face. Dr. Svehlak failed to disclose the gravity of this procedure and the scar. Furthermore, Dr. Svehlak knew full well that I was not an appropriate candidate for this procedure, but he decided to operate on me unnecessarily. I have consulted with several top LA surgeons who told me that this he never should have performed this particular procedure on someone so young and who clearly didn't need it. This procedure is reserved for women in their 40's to 50's. I am still a college student. Dr. Svehlak took advantage of my vulnerability as I trusted his expertise. It has become apparent that Dr. Svehlak lacks judgement and compassion. Now that I have chosen to speak out against Dr. Svehlak, I know that other women will have the courage to follow in suit.
