I saw dr. Pearl Grimes in Los Angeles after getting post inflammatory hypopigmentation after laser hair removal on my lower legs. I found her 4 months after my hair removal situation. She is near The La Brea tar pits. She prescribed narrow band UVB. Treatment. I had 17 treatments total. My pigmentation came back comepletly.
I had too many white spots to count.

It has been almost 1 year since my first visit to RejuvaYou Medical Spas in South Pasadena and I think it is about time I wrote an update. I really love going back to this spa as I always feel welcome and greeted very professionally with courteous staff. It's the kind of place anyone can feel comfortable going to.
I had problems with ingrown hairs on my chest and finally decided to do... more
So I am probably one of the younger ones on here who has gotten this treatment. I'm only 16, but I have had a hair problem ever since I hit puberty, which was when I turned 11. I live in California, where it is hot most of the time, so shorts and skirts are the perfect things to wear year round. Unfortunately, I have a lot of body hair that prevents me from having the confidence to wear cute... more
Unwanted hair in certain places. I just finished my sixth laser appointment and I can tell you that they have worked well (: I know that it is a sensitive area to get laser hair removal, but they use this special machine that helps reduce the pain. So you'll hardly feel a thing! They also provide numbing cream for some areas. more
Pros: NEVER have to shave again!

Yes, you read it right, I've spent at least $10,000 on laser hair removal and it has not worked at all!
The first round of treatments through UCLA Medical Center were costly and worthless. I spent $500 per series of treatments, and I had a LOT of treatments. I was trying to get a more "acceptable" bikini area if you know what I mean. It was very... more
I went to a Spa in a mall and I did the laser hair removal. It was not worth it! It was 8 treatments for the whole face and the total was 3,000 dollars. After that the hair grew even more and developed bad Acne. I hated it ever since. more
Laser hair removal is supposed to be permanent, but the truth is that it takes care of 80% of the hair max. The rest of it can be removed by further treatments and maintaining to aviod regrowth. I lost more than 80% of my hair but saw some growths on my bikini area in between the treatments. I went for 7 sessions , monthly and in between those i used to see a very slight stubble of a few... more
