i have Asymmetrical cheekbones, one is higher than the other.so i am wondering if there is any way to fix it .also i want cheeks implants ,but am scared if i get them done the asymmetry of my cheeks will be more obvious!? pleas i need an expert opinion.
Everyone has asymmetrical features including cheeks with one side higher, wider and more projected. The proper aesthetics of facial beauty, IMHO, are not dicated by symmetry of the cheeks or any feature but rather by how closely, that particular feature, meets the aesthetic ideal.
Photos, of your cheeks, would help. I use Cheek Implants often for cheek augmentation and minor differences in symmetry need not be addressed as long as the proper sized/shaped cheek implants are used. When more significant differences arise, I use a nasal rasp to file high points from the cheek bone to facilitate implant placement and effect.
i am 20years old.height 6'1"".weight =61kg.i have high and pronounced cheekbones but still my cheek looks puffed.is there any way to reduce cheek volume to make it look flat.
Photos would help in the evaluation. Understanding and following the proper aesthetics of facial (and cheek) beauty is essential for the creation of a naturally, more attractive face.
I'm skinny but I've got chubby cheeks, specially upper half. I've been browsing all sorts of liposuction, but none is recommended for upper half of cheeks because of the possibility of nerves damage. I've heard of this relatively new technique, ACCUSCULPT. However, is linked to Facelift, and that's not what I want. I'm only 28yrs old, I don't really need a lift, only reducing my cheeks(upper/lower), chin and jowls. What do I do?
This may be called a form of a Face Lift but that's more marketing hype than truth IMHO. This is a Nd-Yag laser that's used in the tissues to deliver energy and melt fat instead of other forms of liposuction. Face Lifts, IMO, must meet the 3 conditions (listed below) to be effective and this meets only 1...shaping the fatty layers. This is a form of liposuction alone IMO.
Face Lifts should:
- Have some type of incision in front of the ear allowing removal of excess skin.
- Lift, tighten and remove excess SMAS layer by proper dissection technique, not lift with threads and or sutures.
- Shape the cheeks and mid face by removing excess fat, and/or creation of the proper aesthetic shape using fillers or cheek implants.
Understanding and following the proper aesthetics of facial beauty, IMHO, is essential for the creation of a naturally, more attractive face regardless of the technique being used. Techniques do not make beautiful faces....using the proper aesthetics of beauty is the key.
