What is Prevelle?

What is Prevelle and what is Prevelle Silk?

A: Prevelle Silk

If you’re unsure that tissue fillers are right for you or if you’re on a tight budget and want a quick fix for a specific event or photo shoot, then try Prevelle Silk. Prevelle Silk is a hyaluronic acid that also contains lidocaine, a common local anesthetic, to increase your comfort during the facial filler procedure. Prevelle Silk can last up to 3 months, so there is less commitment time if you want a short-term preview of the results. Results are immediate, and you may experience temporary injection site reactions such as swelling, pain/tenderness, and redness, and although rare, lumps/bumps may occur. These symptoms are typically mild and in most cases resolve within 7 days.

When Will Prevelle Silk Lumps Go Away?

I had Prevelle Silk injected around my mouth about 10 days ago and at first thought I had some decent results but now some lumps have appeared and I am concerned. Will these lumps go away? thanks,,,stacy

A: Prevelle Silk lumps may go away after time

Sometimes, specially in the lips, if the injection is done slightly more superficial, you may see the lumps. It is hard to say it they will completely go away with time. You are early enough that I would recommend going back to your plastic surgeon and showing him/her what you are talking about.

When it is early enough, your doctor can massage the lump out.

Hope that helps.
