44 Years Old Considering Juvederm for Parentheses: What Results Can I Expect?

My parenthesis are noticeable and definitely age me, how much of a reduction can I expect by having this procedure done?

A: Fillers work great for reduction of nasolabial folds

Hi,

A filler in this area, such as Restylane, Perlane, Juvederm or Radiesse, will work well in this area for you. The amount of reduction in the folds depends on the amount of product that is placed in the area, as well as who is performing the injection. Since you will be having a filler for the first time, I would start conservatively (half a syringe on each side) and then waiting 10-14 days for the results to take form. At this point you can decide whether you want additional product injected in each side. This will allow you to adjust the level of reduction to your liking. Hope this helps!

Second Session of Juvederm

Juvederm Second Session : I Am 33 Years with Mild Smile Lines Which Looked More Pronounced Under Makeup.

I had juvederm ultra plus (one syringe on both sides) and was quite pleased with the results, except that the lines did not completely vanish, but were fairly less noticeable. Its been 6 months now and although juvederm effect is still there, it isnt as fresh. I am considering another session of the ultra plus. Pls advise if I should wait for the entire Juvederm to dissolve further or would it be advisable to undergo another ultra plus session. If yes, what amount would you advise? Thanks!

A: Second session of Juvederm

Dear Trnky1,

As long as an experienced injector is performing it, there is no harm in a second session of Juvederm. It is difficult to say how much you should receive this time around without examining you. It is best left to your injector to examine you and then the two of you can arrive at that decision together. Good luck to you!
