Breast Lift with Implants, Want to Have As Natural Look As Possible. What Do You Recommend?

After breast feeding 2 babies I want to have a breast lift. My current size is 34B maybe C but the top part of my breast is completely emty. I most likely want to have a implant with a lift. I don't know what type of implant I should have. I am not looking for a fake looking breast, full C, no big gap in between. As natural as it can look. I heard silicon is more natural looking. Any advice?

A: implants give a bit of a lift by themselves

I understand that you want the most natural look.  Without photos, it is hard to say, but it sounds if you are only a B cup now, that just putting in an implant will give some "lift" like a swing, by putting something behind your existing breast.  If your sternal notch to nipple distance is above 23-24 cm you may not need a lift, but you should seek out a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon that is a member of ASAPS to see you for a physical exam.

The lower the profile of the implant, the more cleavage you will get, and the less roundness on top that seems to look a bit more fake.  But that is a generalization, and needs to be evaluated with measurements of the base of your breast.  A good new technology to visualize the different implants is to have a 3D photo with the Vectra System to show the different types of implants and sizes on your own body.  Good luck.

Will the Breast Appearance Continue to Be Smooth or Will It Distort Around the Lift Scars?

Hi, I have an old vertical c section scar that will be removed as part of a mommy makeover. With a breast lift will the breast shape distort around the scars as with a vertical c-section?

Updated Information:

Please Let me clarify about the scars distortion with a breast lift. If I gain weight in my breast after a breast lift, will the fat deposit around the scars similar to that in a vertical breast lift?

A: scarring with breast lift

all scars are unpredictable:

verticle lifts have the best scars and best areola scars

periareola lifts can have widening and irreg. scars.

they are better with permenant sutures

anchor scars will sometime have thick red scars on the outer and inner parts under the breast

After a Donut Cut Lift, Why Does One Areola Get Larger and the Other Remain the Same?

I had a breast lift w implants a year ago. Then I got the ugliest round raised scars which i had doctor cut out ,and then used silicone patches to reduce scarring, then right side was sagging more than the other so he went in again and recut the areola to match the left, then the left got encapsulated and he went in left side to cut away scar tissue,The right areola is streching and the left isnt, why does this happen and will the left ever catch up or will the right keep getting bigger?

A: Widening of scar after donut breast lift augmentation

There are a number of issues here:

  1. unequal amounts of skin removal create different amounts of tension on the scar
  2. the scar size can be controlled by using permanent sutures
  3. a better lift and scar control can be done with a lollipop or vertical lift
  4. anchors lifts are old school and not needed
  5. benelli lifts are not the same as a donut
  6.
