I had stretch marks from pregnancy and underwent full tummy tuck. Results of stretch mark removal is great but I am more ashamed of my appearance with this belly button and will not dare wear a bikini. Original PS not responsive, did not have follow up visit etc... Went to additional PS, they state that this is NOT normal and cost to fix is high? What is in the range of "normal appearance" for this?
Thank you for your question and photo.
I believe that you would benefit from revisionary surgery to improve the appearance of your belly button. I do not know how long ago you had your tummy tuck surgery but a physical examination is key before discussing the exact procedure with you.
Visit with well experienced plastic surgeon's who can show you examples of their work.

I know it sounds like a weird question and of coarse no one has ever asked but i am concerned
Thank you for your question.
The best thing to do is to discuss with your plastic surgeon and see what his/her recommendations are as well as the rules of the surgery center where the procedure will be performed. I don't see a reason to remove them but again, it is best to discuss with your surgeon.

I had a TT on Feb 1,2012. I saw my PS today he said he didnot like the colour of one spot on my belly button and he will keep a eye on it. Should i be worried it is Nercrosis? If so what will happen and how can we fix it? Thanks
Thank you for the question.
Without direct examination it is really not possible to give you good advice. Yes, necrosis is on the "differential diagnosis" of what your plastic surgeon could be referring to. However, there are other things that he may be concerned about.
Therefore, it would be in your best interest to ask the person who knows your situation best (your plastic surgeon) what he is referring to and what the possibilities are to “fix it”.
Best wishes.
