I Have Loose Skin in Abdominal What Should I Do? (photo)

I am 22 yrs old i am very insecure about my stomach. I can not afford to have a tummy tuck for 2 reasons: a. can not afford to take time off work and b. the cost... Would I be an ideal candidate for smart lipo? or maybe even thermage? i dont care about the stretch marks i just want a flat tight stomach.. i have been going to the gym and not matter how much weight i loose my stomach remains the same.. I NEED HELP.. i also had my appendix removed hint the dot above what is suppose to be my navel.

A: Tummy Tuck ONLY!

Thank you for the question and pictures. You should be proud of what you have achieved through diet and exercise. You are correct in that it is likely that you have reached a plateau and cannot do much more with the appearance of your abdomen without surgical help.

Unfortunately,  you are not a good candidate for anything except tummy tuck surgery. The other treatment modalities you mentioned will waste your time and money.

I would suggest that you delay any intervention until you can afford the tummy tuck procedure and the time off work...

Best wishes.

Advantages of Ulthera to Thermage?

What are the advantages and disadvantages of Ulthera and Thermage? Are more doctors switching to Ulthera? What is the main reason?

A: Ulthera goes deeper to allow for more accurate skin tightening

Ulthera’s effect is deeper than Thermage. It allows a more accurate skin tightening, The results appear to be about twice as good as Thermage.

Can Thermage Body Shape Be Used for Non-surgical Butt Lift?

I'm still unclear on the difference between Body Thermage and Thermage Body Shape - I think one is newer and is supposed to work better than before, but I'm not sure. I want to do something to enhance the shape of my rear, but absolutely do not want to do surgery.

A: Thermage with new tips is a surgical lift alternative

Thermage will NOT make your buttocks' flatness worse. It will tighten the skin and LIFT the buttocks. We do see many patients after liposuction that have irregular and loose skin. Thermage induces collagen production therefore will tighten the skin and improves tone and texture.

Thermage body shape and Body thermage are the same. There are now new tips 16.00, which we use for body, and it is a combination of a deep and cellulite tip. Now with the new tip, you can treat both sagginess and cellulite. If you do not want to have a surgical lift, the best alternative is Thermage treatment with the new tips.
