Hi, i'm almost to my ideal weight( pre babies) my stomach keeps looking worse. I have this wrinkle skin above my belly button. I have twin boys and a daughter 16 months apart! I'm 5''4 124 lbs. Seems like the more weight I lose the worse my stomach is looking. Help plz. My skin feels like it got wriped away from my muscle . :( Is ther a chance it will reconnect on its own? but when I put up it goes back to normal :)
Thank you for the question and pictures.
Based on the history ( especially having had a twin pregnancy) and your pictures you are an ideal candidate for tummy tuck surgery. Unfortunately you will not have a satisfactory results with laser skin tightening or liposuction surgery.
This procedure will serve to remove the loose skin and tighten up the abdominal wall muscles that have undoubtedly spread with the twin pregnancy.
It would be in your best interest to be examined by a well experienced board-certified plastic surgeon.
Please stay away from the “greatest new technology” that will waste your time and resources.
Best wishes.
there are so many lasers out there it gets confusing and i know they are big money makers, but what really works and what doesn't? i know laser hair removal seems to work. how about lasers to tighten face, neck and body skin. doc recommended i might benefit from tightening laser on tummy skin. i have had laser several times on my red tt scar and i just don't know how many to have. when is enough? when do you stop and does it really help the scars or does it thin skin or cause harm?
Thank you for the question.
I do not know of any laser that will “tighten up abdominal skin”. More than likely you have come upon a gimmick that will end up wasting your time and money. It would behoove you to be examined by a well experienced board-certified plastic surgeon.
Best wishes.
Dark under eyes: One month ago a plastic surgeon used a laser to correct extra blood flow and Juvederm for the hollows. My eyes have been irritated (burning, tension) since.
A week and a half ago the doctor said the laser probably caused dry eyes and I've been using extra strength eye drops day and night, but they're still red and irritated.
Questions: Do you think it was the laser or could it be the Juvederm causing this discomfort? I don't know if I should get the Juvederm removed or not?
There are many different lasers that can be used to improve the appearance of dark ciccles arounf the eyes and I don't know what laser your surgeon used or the settings for that laser. In 20 years of using lasers to treat dark circles as well as blood vessels around the eyes I have never seen or heard of a patient that develooped dry eyes. In our office we use the Q-Switched Ruby laser for dark circles and Cool Touch varia for blood vessels aroiund the eyes and the Active and Deep FX fractionated CO2 lasers for wrinkles. We also use the Aluma or Thermage to tighten skin around the eyes.
It may be wise to get a second opinion for your problem.
