i have had 3 laser sessions for my facial hair...but now i became pregnant and discontinued it ...since i read in many sites that its harmful for the fetus.it's now 3-4 months since i did anymore sessions, but now my facial hair has grown back so black ad thick..i feel so embarrased..i dont know what to do now?..please advice me on this...should i consider laser or IPL after delivery?has all the effect of laser gone because i stopped it for a while?Awaiting response,Thank You
After you have delivered your baby and if you choose to breastfeed you can get back into you laser hair removal series. There is not much else you can do until then. Your baby is priority number one. Don't worry, after you get a few laser hair removal treatments done again you'll feel like a new women. =0)
The good news is the darker and thicker the hair is the better, and faster your results will be.
Hope this helps. Good luck.

How close to a Laser Hair Removal treatment should I shave? I am thinking about just letting them shave me right before the laser--will this affect the laser's efficacy?
When having Laser Hair Removal, we want you to be as clean shaven as possible. We recommend doing it in the morning before you come. If you shave immediately prior to the laser, you can possibly have increased inflammation/redness after the treatment.

I have blue eyes, brown hair, alabaster skin, burn easily, some freckles on face/areas exposed to sun but none on areas that aren't exposed) The hair (full legs, bikini line, underarms) is nearly black, I know I have "ideal" skin/hair for treatment, but I'm not looking to take any risk getting laser and ending up with some skin condition or burn. Shaving irritates my sensitive skin and my hair grows within hours. How safe is it in terms of side effects/burning/permanent issues?
If you go to an experienced an reputable office that does many laser hair removal treatments you should be fine. Unfortunately, there are always risks and no guarantees. Be sure to not use any self tanners or get a tan 1 to 2 weeks prior or after any treatments and you should be fine.
Good luck.
