I Am 21 Year Old Female with No Hips - Options?

Hi, I wanted to know if there was a such thing as a woman not having hips? If yes, as I do believe it is (I feel I am one) would this procedure help? Now I know it may sound unrealistic for a woman to not have hips but I don't. I do have a plump butt with a little extra fat located under the buttock, sadly no hips. Could this course of action?help a confused professional ballet dancer?

A: Fat Grafts to Your Hips Should Help You

I suggest that you see a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and member of ASAPS for a consult regarding your hips.  You may be a candidate for fat grafting to your hips.   Your own fat would be removed from on area with liposuction and then injected into your hips.   This should add width to your hips and improve your figure.  Good Luck!  Dr Grant Stevens

Not Enough Fat for Brazilian Butt Lift

I'm slim and petite, and I have a small butt. I want a noticabely bigger and rounder butt, but what if I don't have enough body fat for a Brazilian Butt Lift? What are my other options?

A: Brazilian Buttock Lift-- Maximizing the results

To get the best result with Brazilian Buttock Lift, you need the following;

  • Adequate fat
  • Equally as important  the transplanted fat should be processed non-traumatically to maximize the viability of the tissues and their survival.
  • Contouring of the surrounding tissues such as the hips and lower back to create a more attractive shape.
  • Patients should not sit on the buttocks for a period of two weeks to avoid trauma to the area.

Generally speaking, Buttock implants can have moderate level of risk and complication.

Hope this is helpful.

Brazilian Butt Lift Vs. Butt Implants - Which is Better for Hips?

I am thinking of getting a Brazilian butt lift. I am 19 years old now & I have no hips at all, in fact my hips seem to sink in. I am 33" in the hips. I would love my measurements to be 34-24-37, right now I'm 34-26-33. My butt does not sag, it's perky. I have a lot of cheek but no hips. How should I go about this? Would implants be better?

A: Buttock Augmentation with fat or implants

Buttock Augmentation with fat is performed routinely and patients are generally very happy with results.

From your description, you are a candidate for Fat Transfer to the thigh region. Fat Transfer can be performed to any area. For best results, you need a surgeon who is patient to do the steps in a non-traumatic fashion.

Also from your description you do not need a buttock lift. Given your current shape, it will create unnecessary scar even though they heal usually well.

Hope this helped.
