Drooping Breasts After Major Weight Loss, Do I Need a Lift With Implants? (photo)

Hello, I am 25 years old, 5'2" and weight 112 pounds. I've lost around 70 pounds over the past 10 years and my boobs have noticeable gotten saggy and I have lost breast mass as I lost weight. I have gone from a 36C to a 32C/34B. I would like to get full C Cup perky breasts. In my case, is a breast lift and implants recommended? I know I'm pretty young and have not had kids yet. Does the current state of my breasts indicate how my breasts will change as I age?

A: breast implants with a possible breast lift

Based on your photos alone you may benefit from breast implants alone however this is difficult to say without examining you in person. Your nipple position looks fairly normal. I would say "possible " lift at this time because you really will not know until you are in the surgery and the implants (or sizers) are in place. I would consult with a few board certified plastic surgeons in your area for a more in depth exam and evaluation. Your overall breast shape is pretty good which is a good predictor of your outcome. Best wishes, Dr.Bruno

What Degree of Ptosis Am I? Minor, Moderate or Severe? What Technique Is Best For Me? (photo)

I decided to get a breast lift. Although, I have not been seen by a plastic surgeon as of yet. I will be making an appointment as soon as possible. However, I have a few questions. Will a lift help with stretch marks? Which technique will serve me best, Perareolar, Circumareolar, Vertical or Anchor? What's the average cost? Will I go down in bra size? I am 38 years of age with no children. 135 pounds at 5'1 and my bra size is 38D. All opinion will be appreciated. Thanks

A: short scar breast lift (vertical incision) should give best result

Based on your photos, a vertical incision (lollipop incision) should give a very nice breast lift.  Your nipple position will be improved as well as the overall contour of your breast. This type of breast lift gives very nice projection to the breast and can remove some of the heavier, lower portion of the breast. Consult with a board certified plastic surgeon for a complete review of your options. Best wishes, Dr.Bruno
