“Granulomatous Reaction to Radiesse -...”
Approximately one year ago, I received Radiesse injections in an attempt to level some acne scars on my cheeks. Instead of filling the scars like I had asked, the nurse injector (mistake #1) decided that my cheeks needed filling. Within a day after the injections, my face swelled and looked terribly distorted. I was prescribed steroids to alleviate the swelling. Some odd stares from... more
“Radiesse for a Lift - Los Angeles, CA”
I love Radiesse. I like the fact that its thick and lasts long. Note that you don't have to only get it injected in your cheeks and marionette lines. Doctors that are not fully educated in Radiesse injection technics usually make you feel like your crazy for suggesting injecting it along the lateral edges of the face. I had some Dr.s tell me NO! and then I found a great injector. She... more
“Terrible Experience - Los Angeles, CA”
Pros: price is reasonable. Cons: Everything else. *no assistant while doing the injection. Thus no one press the injection spots while he replenish the syringe. I have blood flowing down my entire face. *unlike my previous doctor, he didnt massage the area to min bumps n no one hand me ice pack to min swellings. *the result is big bumps on my face, uneveness on my cheeks and several... more
“I Dont See a Change on my Cheek...”
I had Radiesse fillers done 2 days ago I really like the result the first day. The next day I couldnt see a thing. I had very minimal swelling and a small bruise. My cheeks look the same as they did before. I feel i just wasted my money on something that is not noticeable at all. Very upset. Im going back to see the Dr.after the weekend and ask him what happened. more
“Radiesse Works for Plumping Deflated...”
I have had Radiesse a few times and I love it. At 34, I have tried Juvederm and Restalyn as well. Neither product worked nearly as well for plumping as Radiesse. Please note that I did not use it under my eyes, which I have heard is not recommended. I had it put in my cheeks, which helped with the hollows under my eyes and in my chin, which helped shape my face. I would recommend Radiesse to... more
Used topical arnica, cold pacs, and oral arnica. Had slight bruising immediately following the procedure with swelling diminishing to redness after a day. Although I had half a dose, it was enough to make a difference. more
“Relieved after swelling went down -...”
I am 44 years old. i wanted to restore some volume loss in my cheeks and lower part of my face. i recieved 1 vial of radiesse 4 weeks ago in my cheeks.i was immediately pleased with the results. my injector wanted to wait 4 weeks for the product to settle before touching up my cheeks and filling the bottom half of my face. yesterday i received one more vial in my cheeks and 1 vial in the... more
“So Happy with the Results! -...”
I had Radiesse injected into my cheekbones and my cheek folds, and I am so happy with the results. I did not experience any pain whatsoever! I was so nervous and thought it was going to really hurt, and it didn't. On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd say the pain was a 1. The doctor was very careful and did a great job! I will definetely do this again. more
“Radiesse Lasts. I Prefer It over...”
I used to use collagen in my naso-labial folds, then Juvederm. I love Radiesse, it lasted so long I forgot, until I looked in the mirror the other day. Lasted almost 2 years! I used to have to go get collagen every 4 months, it was annoying. more
“Radiesse in Nasolabial Folds and...”
I had radiesse injected into my nasolabial lines and cheeks. before the injection, my doctor injected me with plenty of lidocaine from inside of mouth, so there was no pain at all. even after the numbness is gone, I don't feel any pain at all.most importantly I really love the result :D my nasolabial line more
I had radiesse in the nasolabial folds to soften my laugh lines. I was swollen with chipmunk cheeks for about a week, but the radiesse really did the trick.I am only 39 and I didn't have severe jowls or anything... just annoying laugh lines that I wanted to make less noticeable before my high school reunion. The injections hurt substantially but once thos more
“Asymmetrical Lumps After Radience in...”
I had lost some volume in my lips and wanted to bring them back to thier youthful fullness. It has been 5 years and I still have lumps. Radiance from what I was informed would go away by now so not sure what it is inside. Is there a facial plastic surgeon in the Los Angeles area that has had any experience and success in removing Radiance? I had my lips injected in 2004, now have asymmetrical lumps. more
The first time I received Radiesse for naslabial folds, it wasn't bad. It did look a bit strange when I smiled, and I could see the material, however it did fill out the folds somewhat. The results lasted about 6 months. I had a second treatment done 8 months later, the doctor saying that he was using a slightly different technique so I wouldn't see the solid line of material. Right afterwards... more
“Had Radiesse Yesterday...still a...”
I would recommend this to anyone that wants to inhance their lips and get rid of those laugh lines! I am 30 years old and had started to see deep laugh lines. This made me look much older than I was. I originally went in to have Restalyne but the doc told me that Radiesse would last longer and look better. I definetely am pleased with the laugh lines, no bruising really but a little... more
